The last tip is extremely helpful. I remember one of my projects has bright white viewport for some reason and I did fix it by appending the objects on a fresh new blend file 👍

those are good tips, i've fixed many problems with these. Also adding Mesh/CleanUp to the Q quick menu for merge verts

A good one too is sometimes the shading display is a bit funky. I find if you join your object to a blank new one like a plane or something it automatically fixes it. This is especially helpful if you're working on a mesh that originated in Maya because sometimes stuff coming from Maya to Blender is a bit funky display-wise.

Applying scale is sooo important!
Even today, I was making a render and wondering why some of my people were mostly pitch black in render, while they looked fine in viewport render. Guess what? They had extremely low scale factor, which led to serious shading issues, even though they had totally basic shaders, with single image texture, without even normal maps!

Quite a lot I get problems trying to zoom in on an object or selection. Pressing period on the numpad resets the viewport camera focussed on the selection.

hi, like your trick, one of my blender animation file has big issue, one of my friend modeled every thing and show me render preview of camera in eevee and cycles so it was working fine.
When i collect files and check its final render so every thing was black in render preview,
Can you tell me issue ?

my problem is that in some geo, when i make a bevel it goes straight and it doesen't make a bevel at all.

I have a problem with manta flow: Two actually.


One: When I use modular (as I've seen most artists doing. I bake it, nothing happens I haven't even baked noise yet, nothing. I even have the cache set where blender likes it and still nothing.


When I do replay however it shows, even in the viewport render complete with the shader set up and everything. BUT it doesn't show in the actual render. Can you help me out?

i dont undestand the last of append the file there have problems to a new one. In 2.90 Blender when open a new fill and remove the deffault kube i try to press append. Should ithen append all from the former Blender fill ? regards Frank Fenriz DK
