The concussive force of most bombs would liquify their internal organs, making their outside armor useless but of course we have to go by movie logic lol

I think the Death Angels just want A Quiet Place to exist but their hearing is so sensitive that any noise effects them. Which is why I petition the writers for A Quiet Place: Cicadas edition where we see the aliens just going crazy on trees and nature in an attempt to silence those bugs.

Zoologist here and there’s a number of prominent points I want to mention:
The first and most bothersome (to me) is if they can withstand the vacuum of space, the forces of re-entry and evolved under higher than earth’s gravity, the likelihood of the angels “drowning” in water is very very low; they may not be able to swim or float, but they’d likely be able to traverse along the sea floor just fine.
Secondly, as some others have stated, the angels could likely hear your heartbeat and breathing from significant distances, so they could be confused/overwhelmed with local sounds such as with a waterfall, but people could not hide by standing still and holding their breath.
On the plus side, since the angels aren’t consuming the people they kill, that means they aren’t actively hunting humans to extinction so much as creating safe territories for themselves to hunker down in until the drive to take in energy or reproduce overcomes their drive for survival. This is assuming they aren’t aggravated by attacks etc by outside forces discouraging them from settling.
We don’t know what resources they need to consume or what conditions they need for reproduction, so there is definitely a chance that either or both aren’t met on earth so ultimately humans could survive just by waiting them out, but it’s not an ideal strategy until more info is obtained and could end up ultimately being a waste of time if the angels find something they can consume here.
Ultimately I believe that people close to the impact zones would perish from the impacts themselves, people in and around the territories the angels mark out would be wiped out, but militaries would quickly find/develop our sound technologies and then begin systematically wiping the angels out worldwide. There would be lots of death before things settle, but I don’t believe humanity would truly be at risk of extinction in this scenario.
Also, a lack of food/energy would eventually drive the angels out of their established territories, which will be messy, but by that time people should already be actively hunting the angels to extinction themselves.

When Evelyn shot the oxygen tank, the end goal wasn’t to kill the death angel, but to make the sprinkler system turn on. The fact that she purposely looked at the dripping sprinkler shows that that’s what she intended, which allowed her to make more noise while saving her kids.

Y'know, if they can hear your floor creaking for miles, they'd most likely be able to hear your heartbeat. I see no reason they wouldn't, really. In which case, stealth and evasion would be pretty much impossible!

The caribbean has to be one of the safest places in this movie

"unless there is an element outside our currently known periodic table that can withstand all of this...."

New element is called plot armor, one of the strongest substance known on earth, can last for a good while but will eventually wear down when needed for dramatic effects

It is impossible for them in Australia bc as soon as they move there'll be another thing to eat them.

If the sound of the implant can fuck them up so bad you would think the extremely loud impact of the meteor hitting the earth would just kill them immediately. Or at the very least completely destroy their eardrums and ability to hear

I'm going to find out if they watch my channel, and are just trying to spite me 🤣 and surely, there must be some mineral to block armor piercing but the energy transfer doesn't make sense to me

In movies: half of the population died

Reality: entire military use the high frequency weapons on these death Angels

It's actually simple. Break into a stadium, play Never Gonna Give You Up in max volume. That'll blow their heads off.

I'd question how bad they actually are considering how selective their hearing seems to be. Can hear footsteps on gravel from across a forest, cannot hear the breathing and heart beat of frightened humans a few feet in front of them

I would just get into a boat and blast the loudest sound system possible and watch the dummies drown trying to kill the noise.

I'm convinced these creatures are bioweapons from aliens yet to reveal themselves.

1) The creatures don't eat humans, they simply attack anything that makes sound.
2) The creatures have ears to orient themselves and to hunt; this needs air or water to transmit sound. That rules out them being something that naturally lives in the void of space.
3) From the second movie, we learn they can't swim in deep water. Their incredible speed on land seems to indicate they are primarily a land-based animal that can move through swallow water - and even hide in it. But they appear to breath oxygen and drown if in water they can't stand in.
4) We know nothing about the creature's reproductive habits, what it eats, nor how it arrived. We assume they came in on asteroids, as shown in the second movie. There was at least one other impact near Shanghai. But it was referred to as a "bomb." I think the asteroid, or impactor, was merely a delivery system for the creatures. Regarding the 'planetary chunk theory' there is no evidence the creatures planet was destroyed. That just isn't a thing from the movie.

For these reasons I think the creatures are a bioweapon deployed on Earth by an alien presence we don't know about yet.

I imagine the creatures have a 'shelf life' and will start dying off after a period of time. This would allow the creatures to execute a massive blitzkrieg that wipes out the dominant sentient species that might be capable of resisting the aliens who deployed it. It also hides the true attacker from any counterattack or capabilities the aliens may have missed when observing humans on Earth. But, the creatures would die off and those that deployed it could begin colonizing Earth with very few humans left alive.

Yes, the Navy would survive for a time. But ships have limited supplies, people get sick, things need maintenance. Eventually, attrition would disable any organized resistance. Land forces could not be mobilized quick enough to mass men and materiel. Tanks aren't omnipotent; they need fuel, parts, maintenance. But again, you could not mass men in one place for very long before they're overwhelmed and killed.

I'm curious what the guys in NORAD and other deeply buried command and control points are up to. Do drones still fly? Are most satellites still functioning? What's happening to the nuclear powerplants? etc.

That's my take, hopefully we'll learn more in a third film.

Having the baby wasn't the problem for me, it's having the baby before they tested or even finished the Soundproof Room.

Despite there not being dangerous aliens that hunt by sound, learning ASL is still a useful skill to have

"Imagine goku who trained at 100 earth's atmosphere" Erm, idk, these have no anime logic to protect them from exploding from pressure change
