tony was more tactically intelligent as a zombie than he was fighting them, remember those lasers that cut through dozens of ivans drones? remember how he can literally fly for extended periods, remember the missiles he can spawn on command? remember those quin jets? remember the iron legion/jarvis controlled suits? literally all of this is technology he already had prior to the infection, and i get inventing things would take time but surely he would be easily able to hold them off long enough to continue innovating on his technology.

The comic version only effects people with great intelligence or superpowers, basically all the villains and heros. The one weakness they have is that if they haven’t ate in a while they would no longer become hungry and help the remaining forces of humanity. But to stop that from happening they travel to many alternate realities to eat. Basically the same as this one but worse

It's explained that infinity gauntlet can't be used in a different universe, so even if Zombie Thanos were able to go here, it can't use the snap. But we still screwed either way

The saddest part about the comic version is when Aunt May seeing Peter eating Mary Jane's brain and then telling Aunt May to leave because he can't control it.

The Comic Version has things that make it even more impossible, and some stuff that actually makes not dying easier.
in that Version, encountering a Zombie 'Hero' in the later stages, or in one of the secondary infection Universes, is only a 75/25 of dying, since the 25% want to be alive again and will be kind of helpful, but in the Earlier Stages, the earth is almost entirely picked clean, and the Zombies Consume Galactus, gaining Cosmic Powers.
The ordinary people zombies are also much rarer, but only because the 'Heroes' don't let anyone turn, having fully eaten them unless they're strong or smart or significant enough to be 'Spared' and Converted, or Escape.

The Zombie Intelligence also makes them more vulnerable to infighting and tricks, while a regular zombie might be able to be dazzled with light or distracted by music, a Marvel Zombie has thoughts, dreams, emotions beyond Hunger.... They can be Manipulated, They can argue with, or even outright attack and kill, other zombies that they don't like. Marvel Zombies can even have marital disputes about not being honest about having a human (and thus a Food source) Stored and alive in the basement.

What makes it a bit harder is that they also know how to lie, how to disguise themselves, and how to breach into other universes. While it's possible to outwit them, conversely, they can outwit you. And when not everyone who's visibly rotten is an Enemy, But not everyone who looks alive is a Survivor, Confusion will play a much bigger part, Friendly Fire isn't just a problem of the disgruntled undead.
Decapitation doesn't kill them, Their heads can live on even when severed for Years. Unless the brain is destroyed, a Zombie with the right superpowers can remain a threat even without the rest of their bodies. Reed Richards started walking around on little stretchy tendrils of his own neck-flesh like he was Dio (Yes, that is a JoJo reference, before anyone asks).

Zombies that go long enough without eating eventually realise the Hunger was all in their head, and get over it. Zombie 'Heroes' often have aspects of their superpowers change because of the infection, Regeneration is completely lost, The Hulk transforms based on hunger rather than anger, which made him near-invincible when ravenous, (They had to feed someone to him in order to satisfy him enough to turn back into bruce in order to be killed) Spiderman lost his webshooters, but he was able to replace them with his own decaying viscera.
Some Zombies try to find cures or kill themselves, while others have schemes to farm humans to eat later. It's Crazy, but it's a fun look at a different kind of Zombie.

The crazy part is that Doctor Strange used his portal to move from Thanos’ planet to Earth in endgame. So the zombie versions could go to invade other planets as well.

Actually, the best choice to make would be to give Zombie Thanos the mind stone since the mind stone CURES the quantum virus.

Zombie Thanos with the power of the mind stone channeling directly through him would snap away half the universe and cure everybody.

I think it's more likely that Zombie Thanos snaps to summon an endless amount of helpless humans to be fed upon forever

The Comic versions are so much worse. The Zombies are sentient still, some even wail and regret their actions but all succumb to the virus, Going invisible doesn't work because they're have casters trapping and putting wizards under water till they shifted and drowned. All the former heroes and villians working together to hunt and eat survivors, not to convert but to actually eat living flesh
