If you're 50 or older you may have heard that keto can be dangerous. Should you eat that much fat? Should you eat that much protein? Should you eat that much salt? These questions are important, and deserve an answer.

Eating the right food can improve your health. Eating the wrong diet can lead to disease. The goal is to eat a diet that prolongs both your life-span and your health-span.

I am 72, was 243 lbs and am also diabetic with my sugar being between 150-165 regularly. I began the Keto diet on my birthday in mid March. I am happy to say that I was 189 this morning and now my sugar is consistently in the 90s. and my last AIC was 5.7 from 10. My doctor has taken me off Metformin, blood pressure med, statins and Prilosec. I am happy and now have more money to chase ladies around...

I’m 61 years old female and I’m here to tell all seniors to have patience. It took me a while to start seeing a change in my weight. I never gave up, I tried to change the protocol a bit, my eating routine, etc, but always keto diet! Adding more fat to my morning coffee helped a lot, I can go without eating much longer. It took longer for me than It would take a young female or a male but i can finally see results! Don’t give up, stick to it, it will happen!

I am 69 and I have been doing it for years. It is the only diet that people can realistically stick with for life.

I am 69 (70 next month) and started carnivore diet August 1st. My son sent me a couple of your videos and said he would be my mentor. It is important to note that I was a vegetarian and then vegan and then pescatarian for many years (my body was craving protein). I couldn’t lose weight and my rheumatoid arthritis was getting worse. After just one mont of BBBE eating, I feel better than I have in decades. I had gotten to the point of hating to cook, but I quite enjoy cooking bacon & eggs or a steak only twice a day. Thanks to my son and Dr. Berry for helping me feel my best!

I am 80 years old and just started keto in November 2019. The first week or maybe two were absolutely awful for me because I am a sweet freak. Once that was over I feel better than I have felt in the last 40 years!

I'm 70 years old and was on Low Carb for a couple of years and now Keto/OMAD since June. I feel great. I feel I have dropped 20 years and 10 kilos. I weigh what I was in my 30s, sleep better and have more energy. It costs less to eat unprocessed foods and prep and clean up easier. I can't imagine ever going back to eating mindlessly. Most of what I learned about keto and IF came from YouTube. Thanks for your contribution Dr, Berry.

66 years young, been "dieting" for the last 3 years with a total 2 lb loss. Started Keto 2 months ago as a last resort and dropped 15 pounds without a day of hunger! This is my lifestyle now!
