Is Molinism Compatible with Biblical Theology and God's Decree? A Discussion with Dr. James White

Dr. James White and Dr. William Lane Craig recently debated / dialogued on Molinism on Unbelievable with Justin Brierly. Dr. Craig takes the position that Molinism is compatible with Scripture, whereas Dr. White argued it is not and advanced instead the Reformed view of the supremacy of God's decree and sovereignty over all things according to His good pleasure to the praise of His glory. In this livestream Dr. Costa will discuss Molinism with Dr. White and ask him to expand on this topic and why it matters theologically.

About Dr. James White:

I heard Craig mention in passing things I find very curious. viz, that young earth creationist are an embarrassment to Christianity and his stand on Molinism. Although I'm not a full blown Calvinist, I am maybe 3 point. God bless you Tony and you also James.

I took Michael Patton's theological course many years ago and he said that the Bible seemly teaches Arminianism and Calvinism, but we must hold these two views in tension. ...the evangelical

I do feel that Dr.White was rude to Dr.Costa by rushing through things and making things a little difficult for Dr.Costa was wanted to be nice to him.

God knew from all eternity that Eve would freely choose to NOT cooperate with God's grace and sin, just as God knew from all eternity that Mary would freely choose TO cooperate with God's grace and remain full of grace, even before Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, took Flesh in her womb!

What about the divine council theory? When we judge the angels, will we have mercy on them for the same reason God had mercy in us by sending his Son to die? If somehow they realize their sin and are repentantant?
