~1:37… the major difference is about 80 IQ points, > one PHD, and an immeasurable gap in graciousness and humility.

Molinism certainly doesn't "make sense" of the biblical presentation.
Claiming that God's Omni-prescience (exhaustive, infallible foreknowledge) is actually DEPENDENT upon, and DETERMINED by creatures and the events that occur in time (as William Lane Craig explicitly affirms) is straight-up blasphemous!

The very reason the Reformed rejected the Jesuit-concocted theory of "middle knowledge" in God is specifically because of its ground in what is essentially an affront to the ASEITY of God (what God is in-and-of-Himself; in this case, His Omni-prescience).

Tim and Tyson are in agreement with the Jesuit Counter-Reformation over-and-against the Reformers.

Nothing new under the sun here, folks, fallen man has always concocted ways to exalt themselves; the problem is that every time they do this, they end up impugning the very Attributes of God.

Thankfully, God's Omni-prescience is NOT dependent upon, nor determined by creatures or the events that occur in time.
He Himself determines the content of His Free Knowledge; we play it out as He laid it out from before the foundation of the world.

At 0:50, you said *" scripture does not teach universal divine causal determinism..."*
God is the ultimate cause of “all things” (Ephesians 1:11, Romans 11:36), even sin and evil (2 Samuel 12:11-12), who upholds and governs all events, people, nations, rulers, and even the created world itself in His meticulous providence (Psalm 22:28, 47:8, 135:6-7, 147:15-18, Proverbs 16:33, 21:1, Isaiah 41:4, Daniel 4:35, Colossians 1:17, Hebrews 1:3). Even James recognized this (cf. James 4:15).

Now, what is actually antagonistic to the teaching of the Bible are subjunctive conditionals that exist without grounding. This must be "read into the Bible rather than deriving from it." Pot, meet kettle.

My main issue with Molinism is that it just seems so... utilitarian and impersonal. I can't picture our almighty God as an utilitarian God that picks the world where the most people are saved. Though, I don't have a better theory to make sense of God's sovereignty and human free will.
