Bill is the most honest teacher of scripture and theologian I've listened to. No ism is clearly taught in scripture. If there was one, that'll be all. Because there isn't any, that's why we have so many understandings of it. Calvinism is one such. James should be more humble

Brother, I’ll have to press this a bit: What Craig says after this last statement in this video: “of course you can’t” (which is left out) is exactly why White’s point is benign.

Are you actually claiming that there is a text anywhere in holy scripture that explicitly & unambiguously teaches exhaustive divine determinism?

If you aren’t, then you can’t hold Molinism to that same standard and nullify it by that standard because even your own position doesn’t meet it.

If you say it is taught in these texts: “the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself” (Ephesians 1:9) & “the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will” (Ephesians 1:11) and that the Ephesians would’ve received this doctrine completely & directly from expositing these then I’m sorry but we would say it’s obvious enough to us that you’ve proven the few words of what’s left out after the last statement in this summarization.

Should we only believe theological positions that are explicitly stated in scripture?

The video is clear! Monalism is not biblical. End of discussion.

There is no text that specifically teaches “this is The Trinity”

James White can't prove timelessness, impassibility, or immutability from the scriptures either. Craig points this out at the end of the debate when he refers to Richard Mullers 4 volume "Post Reformation Reformed Dogmatics. How does White respond? by saying, "No one says they are simply read out of scripture". Hence, White is inconsistent.
