This seems pretty reasonable, I’m around 210lb and can just about do 17 pull ups with decent form, anything after that would be cringeworthy attempts. I also don’t really train for high reps, mainly in the 3-8 rep range with added weight or doing muscle ups.

I think the question should be “how many strict pull ups with perfect form can you do?”

“I can do 20 pull-ups at 230lb bodyweight!” Can really only do maybe 2 good pull ups

Iv almost always been training for hypertrophy but lately after alex leonidas and your channel as well as a few others, calesthenics (especially weighted) is the goal. Iv seen some massive size improvements in the past 3 months and going from negative dips to like 4 sets of 4 today feels great. Ill get there eventually ❤

Hiw many you should be able to do is quite a different question from how many you should do if you do calisthenics!

Nice I think I’m doing well then. Currently 162 and do around 25-26 solid form strict pull-ups. When I was around 154-155 my PR was 33

I don’t do bw pull-ups anymore but I’m 165 and can do 8 reps with 90lbs weighted pull-ups

135 and can literally just lift myself up like nothing for 20 reps. Never seriously lifted or done muscle building; Just a long distance runner. I could pull off 30 but it gets tough after 25. I genuinely wonder how many my little ass could do if I did it every day

im 196cm tall with 86kgs, can do 21 pull up, 1 pull up with extra 45kg, 3 dips with extra 60kg. but i still cant do clean muscle up, any tips?
