How To Lock Your Bike

The easiest way to prevent your bike from being stolen is proper locking. Here is a quick guide to making sure your bike is locked tight.

maybe you should watch some other videos on how to lock your bike. Always put U through back wheel, frame, and onto solid object like bike rack. Back wheel and frame are most expensive. You then thread wire through front wheel and around frame to complete the lock up. You can also run another cable around seat and into U lock.

instead of throwing away your cable lock, why not use it WITH the u-lock as well?

I would add a padlock to ends of cable then through u lock. If u lock is levered off they still have to get through padlock to release the bike. 2 lines of weakness not one. I've had a u locked bike stolen at UT.

You can use a pocket knife to break the key hole on U lock and cut the other cables so its steal not safe

If you remove the wheel skewers, the thief will get a nasty surprise when they ride away.
