I quit smoking at the beginning of the year. I was two packs a day for 14 years. I got COVID. I left the service industry after a decade in. I'm in my mid 30s. I've ballooned this year and I'm miserable. I've always been big. Been over 200 since 14. I eat whole foods as much as I can. Lots of eggs, chicken, beans, and cruciferous vegetables. I started taking psyllium husk fiber last week. Taking it twice a day now. Hoping it works. I'll be giving your channel a follow.

Under legumes…lentils have 15 grams fiber per cup, is that all lentils or red lentils. There are many different lentils on the market.

In your opinion, what is the best to check body fat? I had a Styku scan done mid August...27% body fat. I just had an InBody 230 scan(bio impedence) last week....19%. Which is more accurate, or should I have hydrostatic weighing done? I don't want to do a DexaScan since I am exposed to radiation at work on a daily basis. Or finding someone that can use calipers correctly?

I have a renpho smart scale ( 3 years old). I'm trying to lose body fat and build muscle -- by doing aerobic 3x a week minimum & strength 2x a week. I was wondering what data areas I should pay attention to for showing results. I pay attention to sub fat, body fat, skeletal muscle, muscle mass & protein. Am I right in watching for changes in those?
The renpho smart scale shows: Body Fat, fat free body weight, subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, body water, skeletal muscle, muscle mass, bone mass, protein. (and weight & BMI which I ignore). THANK YOU!
