best advice I ever got on these, is to focus your brain on pulling the weight with your elbows instead of your hands.

Cable rows are absolutely phenomenal. They helped my mind muscle connection with my lats, unlike kat pull downs. And they also have a certain level of core demand, not much, but more than the machine row. I definitely recommend them to anyone who has trouble with a lat mind muscle connection like I did.

I agree on this 100%, wider grip gives you more lats activation. But for beginners i would recomend the normal triangle grip.

Also, don't lean back past 90° on your hips, keeping a slight lean forward keeps your back in the game the whole time.

when pulling back raise the chest up a tiny bit as u get closer to the body. pull using elbows use a weight just heavy enough

I hate the narrow grip, I’m quite broad so it’s uncomfortable asf and I always opt for a wide grip. Feels nicer on the back too
