First pc, 4080 super, currently playing the assassin’s creed franchise in chronological order, playing ac unity as of now. The one thing I love about having a pc instead of a console is the much bigger variety of games. Not to mention emulators so that you could technically even play games on other consoles… PC on top for sure

Jason always love the enthusiasm. This was a really good episode. I like that you went back to 2019 and contrasted what we have today. Thank you for breaking it down.

Wow, I can't believe you can get a 715 dollar build with a 7600XT, holy CRAP that's good value!

"Radio Shack" haha. I don't think most of your younger viewers will get that reference.

One of the best youtube channels out there. Great job as always.

I'm 47, used to ride my bike down to radio shack back in the late 80's/early 90's lol, gone but no forgotten lol .

Scorptec is a well known, and one of the larger, stores here. They built my last PC, Oct 23, and I'm very happy with it.

Why would I not buy a 5700x3D? To buy anything better would require me to buy a whole new computer basically.

Can confirm, the B550M Mortar is really good. It wasn't super expensive and has good VRMs that keep cool, some of the cheaper ones could still be kind of crappy with B550, but the Mortar is able to handle everything you can put on the platform very well. It's overall a great board.

Just built a pc for a friend 2 weeks ago, was able to get him a rx 7700xt with a ryzen 5 5600, 1tb pcie 4 gen ssd, good msi case with 4 pre-installed vents for around 45€, b550 asus prime motherboard with wifi, and a 650w corsair power supply (A tier), as for ram I went with the ripjaws 2×16 cl16 3200mhz, the total price was 870€, all thx to your incredible videos Jason, keep it up!!!

Every time I hear Jason talking about a 1440 build I crank it up. I’m currently running a 2018 build. There was no way I was going to try to upgrade when Covid hit.!

having the 2 drives thing for me personally is mostly about data protection and modding for games, for many mods and modding applications its typically standard to keep games off the boot drive because windows does not play nice with applications constantly modifying or injecting scripts or any other data in another program or folder. You could just create a new partition but still keeping things off of it entirely makes it more practical incase of os instability or failure. The amount of times iv had to reinstall games in the past because I needed to clean install my OS or the amount of files and documents iv lost. Now i just organize my drives by OS, Games, and Storage. OS is a small 128gb sata ssd, gaming is a 1tb nvme for larger games that stream textures, another 1tb sata ssd for smaller games and older ones that wouldnt really benefit from an nvme, and storage is a 12tb hdd for general storage of everything i dont use on a daily basis.
