Is This a Good CPU/GPU Combo??

A 5700G and a 6700 XT is a great combo if you can take advantage of all it has to offer (e.g. PBO, SAM, FreeSync, strong iGPU performance on par with a GT 1030). Even if you don't use the iGPU, it'll come in handy when you're in between GPUs for whatever reason, like a spare tire for your PC.

Also, while the 5700G only supports PCIe 3.0, you aren't missing much in terms of performance. Look up any PCIe 3.0 vs. 4.0 video. In most games, the difference between them is literally 1 FPS.

Lastly, the 12GB of VRAM will be a big help in the long run as PC games are getting more VRAM-hungry and unfortunately that's not going to change anytime soon.

Thanks for this now i have peace of mind building my new rig i have similar specs from an i3-6100 to a i5-12400
and from 1050ti to a 4060 it may not be the best card but it goes well with my path of being power efficient and capable of playing most games at 1080p. I have to admit its still overpriced where i come from but its perfect of a budget build

Pro tip: avoid the 4060, 4060 ti, and 4060 ti 16gb

I'm planning, and I am replacing the following parts:
CPU - buying AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
GPU - buying Radeon RX 6750XT
RAM - buying Silicon Power Gaming DDR4 16GB
Motherboard - buying ASUS Prime B550M-K

These are the parts other youtubers have led me to believe are the right choices, but idk if these are the best parts for their price range (I'll be able to afford these all for £567.07)

Better to buy Ryzen 7 5700 instead "G" variant
Ryzen "G" CPUs come with only 8 PCIe Lanes support for External GPU

Missed one important thing. The 5700G does not support PCIE Gen4, while the 5600 does and the RTX 4060 run on PCIE Gen4 x8. Using Gen4 X8 card with a CPU that only support Gen3 will make you leave performance on the table.

I have Ryzen 7 5700g at all cores clocked at 4.5Ghz and 1.32v paired with RX 6700XT Red Devil and playing all my games at 1440p at 130-144 fps high+ Settings 👌😌

Indeed a GPU and PSU recommendation for a intel i7 3770k with 4gb Kingston hyperx X4 with a noctua air cooler with 512gb ssd with 2 1tb HDD and a cd reader
