this is slightly misleading, you can get a Ryzen 5 7000s series and play 1440p at high frame rate and 4k with low frame rate, 1080p is not it's limit, depends more on the GPU and CPU Generation

Ryzen 3/5/7/9 isnt all that matters, for example: a Ryzen 5 7600x beats the Ryzen 7 5800x

This is so dumb, like if you go with a higher resolution you need less cpu power. This makes no sense.

As an owner of a Ryzen 9 system yeah, I originally built it for mining/farming and workstation use but now I kind of use it for gaming 😅

Got a 7 but I’m thinking of upgrading to a 9 in the future due to the fact I want to be able to stream, record, play at high fps and good quality all at once. Not to mention editing, uploading/downloading videos constantly at high res

I prefer ryzen 8 14900 ti super xtx which has 32gb ssd ddr69, 1tb RAM and a water cooled PSU and can run barely any triple x game with about 120-140 W which is really good if you are trying to get low fps so you don't worry about burning your monitor and of course it has pcie x16 socket so is past proof and of course has high bottleneck so it also makes any gpu work on 100% of it's ability

currently the best ryzen you could get ( in my opinion) is the ryzen 5 7600

series is great but the generation matters a ton.

I hate this nonsense of "oh, you need 5700x for 1440p and only 5600 for 1080p".

It literally goes the other way around. The lower the res, usually the higher the framerate, aka, more frames have to be computed, meaning you need faster single threaded performance i.e. the higher tier chip.

Aren't cpus not dependent on pixels? My understanding was that u can actually downgrade the cpu needed to not bottleneck the higher resolution u play at, because the gpu is utilized harder at higher resolution (the gpu will be the botteneck so u can run a budget or midtier cpu).

As someone who has a ryzen 9 3900x, yeah they're not optimal for gaming, but they do fine in that regard too. 100~ fps on max settings but definitely loses out in the more cpu heavy games.

Bru me over here with a 5600x boosted to 4.8ghz and 3D modeling and rendering and making a full tv game with no prob. And a 180hz monitor
