Chair Cardio & Strength HIIT Workout for Seniors & Beginners

Join me for this fun challenging but achievable 30 minute chair HIIT workout. We will alternate cardio movements to increase our rate with strength intervals using hand weights. You will perform exercises for your entire body in a seated position.
For reference, I'm using 5 pound dumbbells. Always begin with a lighter set of weights (or water bottles, soups cans) and increase the intensity as you grown stronger.
HIIT (high intensity interval training) is great for burning calories and weight loss! Most importantly, you will feel great after this workout!

I am 63, usually active at the gym, yoga studio, and cycling but am now recovering from foot surgery. Your videos are saving me and anyone who thinks chair exercises are not a workout has not tried them. Thank you!

Hi Lauren, I hope you had a nice Memorial Day weekend. This is another new favorite. I think even though this one is seated, it is bodyweight and good for osteoporosis.

I am 70 and this exercise is very effective. I walk 6 miles 4 X a week and this exercise keeps my muscles very flexible and strong

I have been working with you for a few months. But just found this one. Hardest one yet! Even more than the 45 minute one! Will probably be my go to from now on. Thanks! And I am 71 with a bad back!

Thanks . I've been doing a variety of your session for 6 weeks and I can feel the difference. I am 74, had to give up my daily walk of 5 km due to arthritis in my ankles. Theses seated workouts Is a great alternative.

I now have mild knee arthritis and was reluctant to try a chair workout. I have enjoyed your standing workouts and thought about how much of a workout can I get seated. Well, well what a workout. I have to eat my words. Amazing. Ty for creating workouts that I can still benefit from.

Perfect. I have plantar fascitis and only did strength. Ths seated cardio is a good alternative
