When I met my husband, I just knew it was him. His actions confirmed it. We courted for 6 weeks and had a wedding. I have never been so blessed.
Everyone knows the saying to keep o doing the same old thing excepting different results quote, well after going through a couple bad relationships I decided to go about things differently. And wow did God show up! My husband is such a wonderful blessing. God is so good. He can lead us to our Boaz, just trust him.

"He Challenged Me Spiritually" Amen! 🙌🏾 This is one of the top traits I'm looking for in a husband. This is how I will know. I want someone who is not comfortable being stagnant in their faith or the faith of those around them. I want my husband to inspire me to develop a deeper relationship with Christ, to grow in purity and in the fruits of the Spirit. I want to admire his own integrity and walk with Christ and in how he treats others. I know its a tall order, but I know it exists.

You know...im seeing this guy. I tried to push him away so many times. But he pursues me. He definitely encourages me to trust in God and read scriptures and he does challenge me to be better.
He even is willing to work with me despite my past. He is definitely committed to do this yard work
Which is really unique. And he helped me. He tells me he wants me to forget my past and not let it mess with my future. He even prays for me. God shows me. This man came into my life when I gave up my desire to be married up to God. I told God I no longer cared and I would serve Him and then soon after it was like the scales were removed from my eyes and I saw him seeing me. He was in my midst the whole time I was serving God in choir.
We're long distance (Canada-Uganda) and communication has been hard but the time we speak is so precious. God has surely put us together and well fight for each other on our ashy knees. Lol

That word “ restoration” stood out in this video for me. I remember Meagan Good saying her husband helped to heal some things in her when they dated/ married. I think this is beautiful. Thanks for sharing y’all!

I love how she said that he helped to restore her, heal her because some people say: "You have to be healed before entering into relationship." Like I might as well wait for years to be perfectly healed or perfect...If somebody loves you, he will help you grow, if he doesnt, he will put you down and find excuses for it.

This video was very encouraging! There was a guy friend I really liked and wanted a relationship with, but his actions were "vague"--he communicated primarily through texting, carnal talk (i.e. sex) and he seemed to have other stuff going on in his life. One of the qualities I desire in a husband is one of integrity in which he does what he says he will do, and will be clear in his intentions toward me. Thank you for encouraging me not to settle and wait for God's best!
