Its really hard sometimes. Its so hard... To describe one-self. You feel you are made of opposites, contrary forces. You twist and turn and only the things that bring self-destruction seem to grant confort. Its way better when you are aware of that vacuum, though fighting it... Its something you do on a daily basis. Its really hard. Keep one-self active i suppose.

That’s an interesting analogy and brings up the importance of therapy as that person because some such as my ex borderline boyfriend just cheated the entire relationship whenever they needed that if they couldn’t get it from me

I have bpd and I don’t feel empty. But other than that I’m a mess of despair och inner emotional chaos. I’m waiting for therapy but the waiting time is very long…

This explains so much… I sometimes feel so empty because I don’t feel heard/seen at home.
The most special I have ever felt about who I AM was when my MIL commented that my fiancé’s once anxious and aggressive dog was a completely different dog now and it was all thanks to me. She had no idea the time I had spent with our dog and how much love and even prayers I poured into her. I had never felt so seen.
