This is the first time I have left a comment on any podcast. I am grateful for all the helpful advice from Dr. Chatterjee and guests. I would like to mention a group of people who are often overlooked ~ caregivers of disabled children. This role is one without an escape. It is a macro stressor from the time of diagnosis and continues to be macro and micro day in and day out. Their purpose is to care for their child and literally every part of caring for them is smothered with stress. In many cases the care is 24 hrs a day. I thought I would mention; if you know someone caring for a disabled child or don’t know them, your kindness and support would be a beautiful gift to give during the holidays and throughout the year!

I think all this started when we got the electric light, allowing 24 hours to do things we couldn’t do before electricity.

I started doing these game changers this past year. Once the sun goes down after 5pm, I dim the lights, as I prepare a light dinner and I no longer take calls after 7pm . I am back to my mint tea ritual after dinner. I am also getting into a habit of getting off the compter between 7pm- 8pm and I use my last hour before bed to catch up on my yoga and core exercises or reading in bed. I have also been practicing intermitten fasting for three years now and that has been very affective too. Thank you for the wealth of information you always provide on your Podcast. Happy New Year!

One thing I've learned is we're only as busy as WE make ourselves! If you want more relax or companionship time it's up to you to prioritize and make that time. Which is exactly what I do.

Dr. Chatterjee, would you consider a podcast on chronic fatigue? Some of these solutions seem helpful for it, but it would be wonderful to hear more about addressing more lingering situations.

Stress and lack of sleep are the two top reasons for the vast majority of people, I believe.

I really like content. But rarely can watch for 2hrs every time. Is it possible to do highlights of discussion under 15 min or so. These are so good but just very long. Thanks much for all you do.

My husband was diagnosed with diabetes significant enough for Dr to tell him he couldn't control by diet and was put on Metformin. My husband researched diet and low carb diet and he's now lost weight (he was not hugely overweight) and he is in remission. As a nurse I was amazed that this was possible. He did it himself - the NHS management would not have got him to normal range blood sugar now for over a year.

Such a true message. I started this kind of evening routine a few months ago (and managed to do so on most evenings...) I must say that this brought a very broad and general relaxtion in my life. Wow. Very impressive. How far away we are from our real needs in this "modern" world. Evenings without screens is SO GOOD!! Sooo worth it. It's only weird at the beginning. Then it's like "ah yes, that's how we lived before the screens!" ;) God bless you!

In 2019 I went to the doctors cuz I was really tired I have fibromyalgia on a regular basis and that makes me really tired. However in the long run after the blood work which I came out perfect on paper. I decided to have myself go through a lung cancer pilot screening project . Within a week I found out I had lung cancer in the very beginning stage. It was found in June. However I wanted to see a better Hospital. It ended up that they didn't believe it was long Catherine left it in me another 4 months. I had surgery December 1st I was up and out of the bed in 2 days and walking Akita dog on the third day. Just because you look great on paper does not mean you don't have other issues. I totally believe in what this gentleman is getting at as well as I'm a avid watcher of dr. Gabor mate. So my bottom line here is do the work these guys are telling you cuz I'm now in 2023 and I'm cancer-free so far

I wanted to comment on this video and share a bit of my personal history. About 11 years ago, I began experiencing continuous backache that has persisted ever since. Interestingly, it is not actually related to my back but rather to my nerves. Despite this, I have found that taking a small dose of morphine helps to alleviate some of the pain, although it never completely goes away. Unfortunately, the nerve pain tends to be worse at night, which results in disrupted sleep and constant tiredness. Even though I make an effort to stay healthy by going to the gym and taking care of myself, it feels like a bit of a lost cause because the lack of quality sleep leaves me feeling exhausted all the time. And to make matters worse, I still have to go to work in the morning. To add to everything, I must say that the level of service in general practice is unsatisfactory, and although there may be a few good doctors, based on my experience, the expected standard is below average. This would not be acceptable in other professions. My reason for saying this is that they provide no guidance on how to handle the situation. Instead, they resort to the obvious solution of prescribing pills without any further explanation. Frankly, I am puzzled by this approach.

Less screen is fostering better sleep. Please Chatter ji, consider sharing your gems in a more compact format.

I love your videos and you always have great ideas, advice and guests. I wish you would do shorter, more frequent videos like Dr Eric Berg. A daily video that's short and to the point. You are an awesome Doctor and I learn so much from you. Thanks for caring. 63 year old diabetic beating it with Keto and OMAD.

I think this is the most useful video I've seen for a long time! I have recognised relatively recently that I'm lacking purpose and meaning in my life. This video has helped me kniw where to start. I was on the right tracks by thinking I needed to find a weekly course to enjoy. I found more information on here that helped me to understand why I feel the way I do (feeling 'stuck'). Also I have the food sensitivities talked about. Interesting to know stress is a big catalyst in that! Thank you SO VERY much!!
