Just picked up an Ipad 8 yesterday. I got the space grey (get this colour if you think the air gap will annoy you) and literally do not notice the air gap EVEN when writing and drawing, unless I hold the tablet at an angle and really focus in and look for it. The screen is already plenty big, and the 128gb version is a godsend. The apple pencil 1 works fantastic and has a charger attachment so you don't need to plug it into the ipad itself. Personally i'd say you only need to get an air or pro if: 1. You are a very serious, intermediate or above artist and plan on selling your work, 2. You absolutely need the most biggest screen you can get your hands on, or 3. You have unlimited money and don't mind overpaying. For the vast majority, the ipad 8 is the best option.

I love my iPad Pro 10.5 64GB. You can still get this iPad for $415 on amazon and it has a 120hz screen, quad speakers, the home button, and compatible with the Apple Pencil first gen. Great comparison video of the new iPads. Always top quality content.

8th gen is still pretty tbh very thin and the white bezels just look beautiful. I finally have the 8th gen and I love it you just need to physically see the product before buying it cause I was unsure of the old design of the 8th gen but I’m in love with it plus it’s more affordable and the Apple Pencil with it is just amazing

I got the air 4. Its my very first I pad. I've never had a Mac or anything my self . So far I love it. My hp spectre x 360 was super glitchy in tablet mode . And apple has beautiful easy software.
