This channel doesn't over do it. The tech chaps feel like the most relatable reviewers for some reason

The best ipad is the one you can actually afford.

I was looking for an Ipad buying guide few minutes ago and this video came out. What a coincidence.

Sometimes the only way i could satisfy my passion of owning some of the tech you review is by coming and watching you reviewers do it. Thanks for giving us an experience of enjoying what we want but cannot have. Really motivates someone to work hard and push towards achieving a life where he/she can own anything.

I would like Apple to update the iPad mini with this new design, 8 inches of screen, compatibility with the second gen Apple pencil and usb c
As small as a note book, It would be amazing

I was looking for an iPad that is cheap since the iPad Pro in my country is over Rm 1000. But after looking at this video, I think I really need to buy an iPad mini for my classes! :)
Edit: My mom bought me the IPad 8th generation for my classes💜

Something else to mention about the mini: you mentioned the display being laminated, but it also has true tone like the pricier ones, and something that wasn't mentioned at all is that the mini has the highest pixel density on its display of any of the ipads, so it's actually the clearest picture at the smallest display size, 326 ppi vs 264 on every other ipad model. I have a mini 5 and I really, really love it.

Even the iPad Mini and the iPad 8. Generation look and feel like high quality products.

The Mini fits into a camera bag. It fits into a jacket inside pocket. As you mentioned, it is the perfect size for reading books.

Augh, I was hoping my beloved Mini wasn't going to be an afterthought. :( I run my entire proofreading business on my iPad Mini. No one has managed to convince me that the bigger iPads can do anything more than what my Mini can do for my needs (I get that the Pros are faster for graphic design and video work, plus gaming). I love the portable format and that it is so lightweight for reading on all day. I combine my Mini with an iPhone XR for extra screen space if I want to compare documents. I think that more people need to know that the Mini is a powerful device built for productivity, not just an ebook reader. I'm on my second on. With the first gen Pencil support, I'm not just annotating PDFs effectively, but also digital planning, managing my Airtable bases, working in Zoho sheets, and more. I love the new Scribble feature that came with iOS 14 and have met people who thought that the Mini doesn't get updates like that!

Majority of the tasks that the PRO does, can be done on an entry level iPad (although slower, but it gets the job done).Unless you are a power user, best invest money on the iPad, and spend the extra money for accessories (dongles, keyboards, track pad, pencil, etc.).

i've been arguing with my self for over a month now between the pro 20 and air 4. after this video i have concluded to go for the air. 120hz is not a big deal for me. even turned it off on my N20U

Thank you for laying them out side by side. I haven't been able to find many reviewers who are doing that. I'd be using for music reading, so size is important.

I'd just mention that for drawing experience, some apps check on RAM for the limit of layers you can use (looking at you, Procreate). iPad Air has 4GB and Pros have 6GB of RAM, so if drawing is important, it might be better to go for iPad Pro

Great overview. I miss the discussion of Touch-ID (Air) vs. Face-ID (Pro) because this is my crux.

▶️ What works more reliably when you want the *first* unlock to work?
▶️ Advantages / Disadvantages in daily use? low light, wearing glasses, lying in bed, ...

If you are wanting an ipad for art i think the ipad air is just perfect. When using art apps u really dont care about multi-core proccesing (like u use it but u dont care if its amazing like the pro like u dont need the extra power) and in single-core proccesing its perfect it gets the job done im going to buy the air in feb or march. In other words if u can pay extra from the budget ipad get the air if u have enough money like u really dont mind spending alot get the pro but if u want a mini ipad DONT buy it, its getting a refresh so yuh i think waiting is best thankk youu for reading AMAZINGGGG video, very in-depth just a chef's kiss
