I heard someone say this: "When you're buying something, if the only downside is the price, get it; if the only upside is price, skip it" Sounds about right lol

One thing worth mentioning about the iPad Pro 12.9 is the fact that it has a much larger screen. I bought one for my 90 year old mother with a near blind eyesight. She loves it since she can enlarge pretty much everything on the screen.

iPad Mini: Small iPad Air
iPad: Budget iPad
iPad Air: iPad Pro 11” with no Promotion but more colour option
iPad Pro 11”: Expensive iPad
iPad Pro 12.9”: Really expensive iPad that you should probably consider a MacBook Air

Just bought the new Mini, and I absolutely love it. In terms of pure subjective love for a thing, this is easily the one Apple device I most love. Everything else (iPhone, MacBook Air, Apple Watch) is great and very useful, but I just utterly adore the look and feel and convenience of the little tiny iPad Mini.

Every video like this has exactly the same conclusion. Buy what suits you. Your use case, your budget. As for the Mini, before the shiny new 6 arrived it hardly got mentioned. Now every tech youtuber has to have it because their “workflow” all of a sudden requires it. The reality is you buy stuff to suit your workflow, you don’t adjust your workflow to suit your stuff.

I have to slightly disagree. Last laptop I owned was back in 2014z since then I’ve been using iPads. Back in 2017 I set a challenge to myself to use the iPad Pro as my main “laptop”. Finished a masters degree with the iPad Pro it was so much convenient for everything. I took notes with the pencil, signed documents online. Finished the dissertation. Created presentations. Gaming. Watched movies. Couldn’t be happier. So yes In my opinion you can replace the laptop with an iPad. Never felt the need of having one anymore. But I understand that fome some people that do coding, video editing etc a laptop can be more convenient.

The last iPad I had was an iPad 2 (2011). I got rid of it a few years ago and was using a Macbook Air but recently sold it as I realized everything I was using it for I can do on an iPad and much more such as, writing, drawing, reading books/comics and even downloading movies/tv on streaming services (you can't download streaming content on a macbook or iMac). It's a must have for me when traveling or when the power goes out.

After much research, I've decided to go with the iPad Pro 11" 128gb (the 12.9" is too big for me). I want all the bells and whistles and have it be very future proof as I'll be keeping it for a minimum of 6 years. I can't wait to finally get it next month!

I bought my M1 512GB iPad Pro yesterday, and yes it's expensive but it is FAR AND AWAY better than the iPad Air 2 I am now retiring. A lot of people say that the 12.9" quad speakers are better than the 11" and to each their own don't get me wrong, but for me upgrading from an Air 2 to an iPad Pro (I now have the 11" by the way), is like chalk and cheese and like comparing apples to oranges. They are SO good. I didn't get the 12.9" mainly because of the weight and size of the 12.9.

these iPad buying guide videos are lovely, and I think they are fairly usable recommendations instead of greediness for new pricy techs.

I like the size of iPad mini. It fits my purse nicely and can be taken anywhere like a book. Using iPhone to read books and browsing websites are difficult to get a good view, compared to using iPad. I am still using iPad mini 2 but definitely want to upgrade to mini 6.

I was conflicted between the mini and air, and watching this video has made me go for the air; given my requirements. Great video as always and keep up the good work. All the best!

Tom's speech and vocals sounds great. It should be added to Google Assistant voices for English UK

The ipad 9 is very worth it, the ari 4 is a great mid ground between the pro, and the pros are for the people who have already had an ipad and know what their use case is for it/want a laptop replacement or they are an artist, i wouldent reccomend the mini 6 to anyone there is so many things that aren't told about it and how annoying some of those things can be especially for the high price you need a good reason unless you really love it, but it can be great for an compliment to your job eg a pilot who needs the compact design and new pencil with an overall powerful chip, i would call it basically a phone with ipad os advantages. A note pad

I have had a 2020 iPad for a year and a half, and it is the most low maintenance device I have ever owned. I bought it as really just a device for watching content and also seeing why people buy apple products, and it does it's job great. And it's power works well for other things too. I have never really been frustrated by its performance and battery life. It does what I need it to, and if you have the money for apple tablets, they are the best options.

I just bought the 2020 iPad pro 11inch refurbished from apple for £50 less than the 2021 Air. Similar specs but with the pro upgrades (120Hz and promotion) and seemed like the best option for price. Absolutely loving it coming from a 1st gen mini!!
