Almost all cops develop a sense of immunity, or being above the law, after a while. It’s quite sickening. (Is your camera on?)

A perfect example to demonstrate how everyone must obey the laws and she misses the point. “If you ever need anything, call me… I mean it”. Yikes. Smacks of quid pro quo.

Just imagine the amount of respect she would have gotten if she didn’t even mention she was chief and allowed the officer to go through the protocols. Of course eventually it would have been revealed who she was, but she would have got in such a minuscule amount of trouble and She would have earned so much respect from her peers and the community

It wasn't her Intention, but yet she whips out her card and says "If you ever need anything to just call" after the cop doesn't write them up for inproper use of a golf cart on a public way/street. She felt that it's no problem to take the cart out and not worry about the repercussions of violating laws that she and other officials enforce onto others with no problem as long as they don't have to follow them. There is a serious problem with this and she shouldn't have resigned, she should have been fired and fined for every law they broke. Period. And we all wonder why there's animosity towards the police by some people.

The thing is, the violation was far less troublesome than the chief's abuse of power. If she hadn't attempted to corrupt the process, she probably would not have lost her job, just due to this violation.

“If you ever need anything call me, I’m serious.” Wow I can’t imagine how many other people with power do this kinda stuff.

She had that cocky smirk from the start knowing she was going to go free after using her status 😪

"if u ever need anything call me".. imagine how many cases she's tampered with or had evidence removed or magically appear.

Jacobi should have been disciplined too. He failed to uphold the policy created he was to enforce because of a persons status. You are taught in the academies that the law applies to everyone and no one is to receive preferential treatment. We know this is ignored, the video here is only one of thousands of stops we don't see.

Why would she even mention who she is just let husband get ticket and keep it moving

They always have to say "do you know who I am" or "I am this and that". Career over if it is videotaped.

Like the old saying goes- “It ain’t what you know; it’s who you know”.

There's just something uncanny about that creepy smile and unwavering eye contact. So predatory and threatening.

So what about the cop that let it slide??

The crazy thing is that she asked if his camera was on, and he clearly said it was...yet she went on to incriminate herself anyway, knowing there'd be a record of it !

It make me wonder: what would she have said/done if he'd said no?

It would have cost her a LOT less money to pay that ticket. 😕

How quickly that "she pulled that I'm a cop" card out. And those in law enforcement think the general populist are the ones always trying to get out of a ticket.

The comment, after she hands him her card, though:
"IF you ever need anything, call
One corrupt favor deserves another, in her warped mind/world.
