Tampa’s police chief resigned Monday after using her position to escape a ticket during a traffic stop involving a golf cart driven by her husband.

I'm from germany and my boyfriend and I had a discussion about how friendly the people in the US are (because he is frustrated how unfriendly we germans). He tried to convince me how nice and friendly everyone was with the short clip of the body camera.
I immediately was "... but... but this isn't right, isn't it. She's misusing her power.... or am I the unkind german again?!?"

This only shows that the Mayor Castor's personal choice for police chief was flawed, which likely also means that she should not be a part the next selection committee. Tampa can, and should, do better. The mayor was the prior chief and came through the ranks. If you want dedication, and somemone who can hit the job running, that is where the next selection should come from. We have the talent. Let's use it.
