Seriously? You can commit a crime of assault on a police officer and one day be the Chief of police? That’s not right.

The problem isn't her record, the problem is all the 19-20 year olds who are rejected from service for lesser offenses.

Normally you don’t get chosen to be the Chief of Police when you have a battery on a law enforcement officer in your background...punching a deputy in the chest really!

If that was a normie like us she would be serving 5+ years and have a forever be a violent felon. No prior history? Tell that to all the first time offenders...

Can we recall a mayor she has no business being a mayor when you hire somebody like this as the chief this is absolutely ridiculous . anyone who assaults an officer as an officer should have lost her career that day.

Cops are the best criminals. They know how to get around their criminal history. She should NOT be the Next Police chief.

Im a #NavyVeteranKorea and importantly a retired county sheriff, 3 decades. I think citizens should understands young person who makes a mistake like drunk driving, no one injured . Then if decades pass? No other mistakes like this? Being in law enforcement shouldnt be prohibited. But assault charges ON AN OFFICER? Hmm. Not sure even I think she should be in law enforcement now. Let alone the Chief?

No Surprise! The Tampa Mayor hired her knowing she had already been arrested for battery on a Law enforcement officer. What person would hire that person for Police Chief! The mayor needs to be fired as well. And now of course she is in trouble again.

Lovely job, Tampa. Your reputation precedes you. 😂

This is what happens when you lower your standards for hiring. How many others were overlooked bc of their past records. A ton, I garentee it!!! This was only done bc she's a female and has friends in high places.

This may qualify as a great testimony of redemption, but the real problem is candidates not being selected for having lesser offenses on their records. What was that judge thinking!

All in her legal rights.... i.e. why it was expunged. I support this as a great use of the Justice system and why all people have these rights. Learn yours

Most of the police would be gone if they only knew their behavior that gets swept under the rug.
