Tampa's police chief resigned following an investigation into a traffic stop during which she was heard asking for special treatment in a body cam video. Mary O'Conner and her husband were pulled over for driving an unregistered golf cart on the road. Jeff Pegues has the story.

The most disturbing thing about this story is not the corrupt chief of police. There will always be corrupt officials. It was the casual compliance of the police officer that bothered me. "I was just following orders"....

happens everyday cops firemen flash badges been happening for years i dont really see anything wrong with it but offering a business card and saying if you need anything give me a call thats a problem

I'm tired of those darn golf carts. One pulled out down my street and he drove on the wrong side of the road without even looking. I stopped and he finally looked up and moved over. they dont follow the rules of the road, similiar to bicyclists who run the red lights.
