My local family owned Korean market makes it in store, and my favorite of theirs is the daikon radish kimchi

A great way to have yeolmu kimchi (the kind you were eating that has the young leaves) is with barley instead of regular white rice. Their tastes and textures compliment each other well

Napa Cabbage kimchis are amazing. I am also open to exploring other kimchi. I personally would like to try radish kimchi but it's not widely available here at our area and Kimchi are expensive here

I make my own! I have the classic cabbage but my favourite is always cucumber. It pairs so well with rice and is always a great snack.

My favorite is radish kimchi, I find the crunch to it so satisfying. I love radishes in general tbh hahaha. I also hope I can eventually try Chonggak kimchi (총각 김치), it looks so good😩

Have you tried baek kimchi (white kimchi)? It’s just regular kimchi without the gochugaru, so it’s not spicy at all. Great for kids or people who can’t stand the heat. It’s really good, although I personally prefer spicy.

you can try making your own! it’s super easy to do, just a lot of waiting for it to ferment. the only special thing i needed to buy at the start was the chili flakes (gochugaru). even the rice flour “porridge” is totally skippable

The kind from the asia mart local to me. Its my favorite, and first kimchi ive ever tried. Not to spicy, not too acidic and very flavorful. Has leafy parts, daikon radish and the crunchy part of the nappa cabbage also has carrots, best kimchi in my book.

My favorite is cucumber kimchi!!! I haven’t tried very many kinds, and most of it is too spicy for me, but when I tried cucumber kimchi the one I had wasn’t spicy at all! I enjoyed it ☺️

My favorite way to eat yeolmu kimchi is to make a bowl cold of noodles with it. Yeolmu kimchi noodles!

I love cabbage kimchi, and I frequently ask my sister to make it for us 😅 But I also have a newfound love for radish kimchi because of it's crunch. And cucumber kimchi for that refreshing taste. 😍

I actually like shedded carrot kimchi the best, the sweetness of the carrots mellows out the sour taste of older kimchis
