I remember having korean neighbors in the Philppines some years ago, they were so nice that they give us big tupperwares of freshly made kimchi whenever they make some and in exchange my grandmom would give them tropical fruits like sweet mango honestly, you can really taste the difference between restaurant/grocery kimchi and homemade 😋

I was in Korea for a year… Koreans were always impressed that I was an American and loved all their food. Especially kimchi. Yummy!

The only Korean Restaurant we have in my city (I live in Canada) is run by a Korean family, and they make their own kimchi for their restaurant, and even sell some to take home! It's honestly my favourite restaurant, the owners are so incredibly nice. 💖💖
