3 Reasons Seventh Day Adventism Is a Cult

It is not uncommon for cults and false religions to reshape words and biblical doctrines through new revelation and mis-use of hebrew or greek. In Adventism Ellen White makes a slew of errors that put SDA outside of Christianity squarely in the cult category.

There is a problem with the doctrine that grace cannot be taken away from us. Heres why:

Romans 6:1-2, 22-23
[1]What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
[2]God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
[22]But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
[23]For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Its clear in the verses stated there that sin still exists alongside grace and we should choose a path on which way to go... Just because grace exists doesn't do away with the commandments as it ckearly shows that even with grace sin exists. And what is sin? Sin is the trabsgression of the law...

1 John 3:4
[4]Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

By the way John is in the new testament and therefore shoild be taken as part of the new covenant...

The thing that really does it for me is when the SDA says that Sunday worship is the sign of the beaat. They are a hate group.

I went to an SDA Church for 5 years, then off and on for 4 years. They were kind, and very warm people. The dietary laws are looked at, or were looked at as “suggestions”. The Sabbath and keeping at it was more than a suggestion. Investigative Judgement was very, very, very, important. You can’t have the religion without it.

Look up the Turtle Dove sacrifice! God always forgave the Hebrews for everything, even violating the Law without knowing it!

SDA double speak is probably the most annoying part of adventism

You claim that Jesus died for the elect. The investigation was on the cross and Jesus died and rose for the elect. This is totally ANOTHER false gospel than what is found in the Scriptures. Jesus Christ “died for all”, He “gave himself a ransom for all” He on the cross would “taste death for every man” not only for the elect. There was no investigation of the elect on the cross. I don’t see any Bible for that. Now the Bible is true when it says, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” (Romans 8:29-30) God knows all so ultimately he knows who will be saved and who will not be saved. Do we now who are truly predestined to be saved? No. The predestined according the Almighty knowledge of God were individuals that heard the call of Christ, were justified and then glorified “for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you”. The call did not only go to the predestined but to everyone. Revelation 3:2 says, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 22:17  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
2 Corinthians 5:14, 15, John 1:29, 1 Timothy 2:6, Hebrews 2:9

You also believe that once an individual has been saved they cannot loose their salvation. Again, very unbiblical. Ezekiel 18:24 says “But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.” The Bible is clear. Also why would Jesus say, “hold that fast”, “be faithful unto death”, “endure”? After someone has been saved they can become apostate and leave the truth. There are once saved always saved believers that have clearly apostatized then people say that he really wasn’t saved? How do you know? You don’t. You really don’t have any assurance of salvation. That is a works based salvation depended on what you say or what you do not complete faith in Christ as my assurance of salvation. As a Seventh day Adventist I believe that Christ made a full and complete atonement for the sins of the world on the cross. The atonement on the cross and the day of atonement are two different events in the Bible. Christ atonement was made for every person on this planet though every individual has a choice to accept or reject the salvation that Christ offers.

The SDA church does not teach that you are saved through works. The belief is that people are saved when they accept Christ and are justified by His grace. The judgment does not grant or remove salvation but confirms those who are living out their faith.

People don't even understand the new covenant yet pretend they do. The old was his law written on stone and when they broke his commandments they had to make a sacrifice to be forgiven, that's what is called works. The new covenant is his law written on our hearts and in our minds. Jeremiah 31:31-33, Hebrews 10:16 and Hebrews 8. And the sacrifice system was taken out of the way, . that doesn't mean we can now sin. His commandments have always been his covenant with his people, that is unchangeable. And if we love him we will obey him. Grace and faith leads to obedience. Romans 1:3-5

Revelation 22:12 says he returns with his reward for all according to their works. How can that happen unless there's a judgement before hand? And the Sabbath is eternal just like the other 9 commandments. You people will see, our Savior IS coming back, every single one of us will have to face him, do you really want to hear him say "depart from me I never knew you"?. It's only those who do the will of the father that make it into heaven. Matthew 7:21. That means keeping his commandments so we will show fruits of the spirit. Matthew 7:16 you'll know them by their fruits.

Hello my fellow humans! I was a seven day Adventist from the age 12 to 14. I got to visit Ellen G. White house and I sat on the bed where she used to get her revelation by an Angel.
”claims the housekeeper.” A relative of Ellen G. White.

Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

That right there is a red flag.

Now, the three points that the man in the short clip, are 2 out 3, correct!

1-the keeping of the fourth commandment and the Leviticus food laws.

James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

Note, the apostle James, was trying to explain to us that we are to do the law.
The seven day Adventist get it wrong here, because they teach by doing law, we have salvation. But the apostle Paul teaches very clear that salvation only comes through grace through the work that Jesus did. Not our goodness but his goodness.

Now brothers how can we understand this? This is what I’ve learned through the Bible, my only source of the will of God.
Salvation comes through the faith in Jesus Christ through election before the constitution of the world. But we are call to sanctification, the keeping of the law. Therefore, we must understand that these two things are separated, salvation and Sanctification! And only the elect can participate in salvation, and since you are saved, God will cause you to do good deeds, and to keep the law.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Therefore, we are not to judge one another, on various different laws. That is what James has saying here, in the above versus. Because each one of us is held up by the father in different levels of Sanctification! But the elect, are already save for the coming of Christ, through God, even as we are been purged through the process of Sanctification through the scripture!

2-the second atonement it’s a total lie it’s not even biblical! But just for people to know, it was invented in order to save the reputation of Ellen G. White. Since her prophecy of the return of Jesus did not come to pass. They changed it that she was prophesying the beginning of the second atonement and of the investigating judgment, that is also a big big lie. God knows everything and does not need to investigate the heart of men!

John 2:25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

Which bring us to number three.

3-Ellen G. White, the false prophet. She did study the Bible a lot. Lots of her writings are just explanation of the Bible. If they would just admit this to the people. Now, when I was inside that church, there were some people who elevated her, and some people strictly did not give her place in their theology.

Conclusion, that keeping a law is not for salvation, but God works all of our salvation, even sanctification in each of us. Now the seven day Adventist believe that they are Christians. And it is true that they have a Work-salvation, and we can put them together with the Jehovah witness and the Mormons in Muslims. Now I do want to remind all of you brothers, that it should be in our desire to always reveal the truth to them and love them, for they are in the image of God. And they are in great danger for justifying themselves, because the law cannot justify anybody. It is only through grace!

If anybody has had the opportunity to sharing the gospel with them. I would love to hear how you all have explained the five Solas and the doctrine of Calvin!

Peace, my fellow humans!

Remember being christian is doing that Jesus did, its just like coping him. Following what he did, what he taught, what he could have done in the current situation.
Hence if he kept the sabbath a Christian also keep it 🤷

The SDA doesn't say we have to keep the Sabbath or any other of the Commandments, the bible does! We just do it. If they were done away with how can it be a sin to break them? (1 John 3:4. Sin is transgression of the law) And the new covenant is his promise to forgive our sins and transform us into people who keep his law. Ezekiel 36 says he gives us a new heart and spirit to obey his law. It's written on our hearts and we obey out of love. And I've studied with people before who believed in keeping the commandments including the Sabbath, and they weren't even SDA. So why are you trying so hard to make them look bad? Whoever says they know him and keep not his commandments is a liar and the truth isn't in them. 1 John 2:4
