I grew up with parents who studied comparative theology and was introduced to many different belief systems. I ended up an agnostic. My experience with Seventh-day Adventists has been very positive. In our small town there isn't a temple for people who practice Judaism. The Seventh-day Adventists opened up their church for Jewish Temple on Saturdays. I recently went to Palau with my parents and we met two lovely women who are Seventh-day Adventists. They opened their arms to us, showed us the island and provided a lovely picnic lunch. I don't know if this is the type of love and acceptance generally practiced, but it's been my happy experience. 💗

Whatever they believe they do a fantastic job of running a Hospital. When my wife had a knee replacement at their hospital in Overland Park they gave us a bill at checkin that was discounted 10% because we paid our share up front. Wesley in Wichita refused to do that and took at least 6 weeks to send us our bill.

Freedom with Christ is always the best way to live the holey spirit convicts us not a set of rules. I'm currently being discipled as all followers of Jesus were told to take after those who have been taught before them. Its so good I have just given up a 15year addiction to weed 4weeks Ago with no issues..Married to my wife 3months ago and living without fear or anger just feels so much more free and life's enjoyable now our family is stronger then ever! I thank you for this concise description. I have been SDA for 35 years. I found the love of Jesus here in this church through my wife's love and in the Bible studies I did with her and her pastor. Thanks be to God for leading the Christian church through the centruies.

The Adventist movement plays a large, if often unnoticed, role in Australian life. The church has entered the retail food market with large sales of a popular breakfast cereal, along with peanut butter and many other items. There is a substantial Adventist hospital not far from us with a solid reputation for healthcare. It's the hospital of choice of many who live around here in suburban Sydney, no matter what their own religion (or lack of one).

As a retired pastor I have fellowshipped many Seventh Day pastors and congregations. In one pastorate in a small town I was part of a fellowship of evangelical pastors in that town including the pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist church. Pastoring a church in Denver we opened our facilities to a black Seventh Day church on Saturdays. In both cases I found them to be very strong evangelicals who loved and served God wholeheartedly who were loving and friendly to everyone. At the church in Denver they always invited me and my family to their pot luck dinners following their Saturday morning worship in our church's gymnasium.

As a seventh -day Adventist, I also do believe that no religion can save a certain individual. Hence, we cannot judge one another. But living life following the belief as an SDA I have learnt to live life in accordance to God's Holy word, the Bible. And indeed, life is worth living under God's providence in this very troublesome and violent world. Religion is a way of life and I couldn't be more grateful to have raised and taught to follow Gods Holy word.❤❤

My grandmother was an Adventist but just avoided unclean meats. She lived to 103. She was so peaceful. She never had diabetes, athritis, cancer, high blood pressure, none of that.
I read about Adventists having longer life spans and ihave been fascinated by it.

I am not yet a member of the SDA church but have studied the doctrine very carefully and declare in all sincerity that the doctrine of the SDA is perfectly biblical and the Truth. All Glory to the LORD JESUS for preparing a remnant church that keeps the commandments and has the faith of JESUS.
