Hey BEAT family, this is part two in our study of Seventh-day Adventist them. Please do keep in mind that these videos are not meant or intended to bash any particular member of that denomination as we respect the beliefs of all. However, it is my intent to clarify what I believe is the biblical position on some very important theological issues. In this video we will discuss the important and divisive topic of Christians and the Sabbath.

My family and I are not SDA’s but we keep the Sabbath not to be saved but because we are saved. We simply follow God’s word. Blessings to all.

Not a SDA but I do keep God's Sabbath. Not because my work saves me but because my Father loves me and I love Him and want to do what He asked me to do.

The Fourth Commandment is NOT one of Moses' law. It is GOD's Law

If any day can be observed I'd choose the Sabbath just to be on the safe side

The 4th commandment, the only commandment that begins with REMEMBER ... have you wondered why ? Why did God put ´remember’ out of the numerous words that exists in our dictionary... why ? Because He knows from the beginning that people will forget about it...

If the sabbath wasn't important why in the the 10 commandements God ask to remember it?

Is not a time to speak of churches but to preach the gospel that God want us to, so that others can know him through us.

Lets stick to scripture and not opinions "For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all." James 2:10

16:09 remember when Jesus said “The Sabbath was made for man”? When was man created? In the beginning. The Sabbath was made for Adam. For what purpose? To rest.

Always look into the Bible to make sure that all teaching and doctrine truly lines up with scripture. Ask the Holy Spirit for guidance, direction, and discernment

You don't keep the sabbath to be save, you keep the sabbath because you are saved, and because its the 4 commandments. Remember the Sabbath to keep it holy.

Hi Mr. Parr and everyone. How come is it the 4th commandment only that is now optional, and where in the bible does it say this? You say that Jesus kept the Sabbath because he was still under old covenant, but if you read Matthew 24: 20; when Jesus is asked about two FUTURE events (destruction of the temple & His second coming) He says to His apostles to pray that their flight to be not in winter nor on the Sabbath! Why does Jesus make reference to a Sabbath when being asked about a FUTURE event (events that He knew will happen long after His death - under the "new covenant") if they were not expected to keep it? If you say it's optional, please share the chapter & verse.

1 John 3:4 says that sin is the transgression of the law. Sin still exists so that means that the law still exists.

As a seventh day adventist we don't keep the sabbath in fear. We keep the sabbath because that is the day that God set aside for us to rest in him. By the way I don't hold Ellen G White higher than the bible. Gods word is absolute and is where all our doctrines and beliefs from

Jesus said he did not come to change the law, but to fulfill it.
