I was wrong about Seventh-Day Adventism! I put out an earlier video a couple of months ago about Seventh-Day Adventists and sadly, I didn't go far enough in my research to determine what they truly believe. There are some major problems in their doctrine and over the next couple of videos I am going to discuss and debunk them as best I can.

Hey BEAT family, it's great to be back! This is an update video to another video I did a while back on Seventh-Day Adventists and there beliefs. Upon further research, I have changed my position regarding them. I hope this helps to clarify. If you are an Adventist, I love you and I pray that God removes the scales from your eyes to see the truth.

It’s not about being a SDA because I’m not one but I do keep the Sabbath simply because it’s part of the 10 commandments🤷🏽‍♀️

Let me make one thing very clear i am NOT an Adventist BUT i do believe SATURDAY IS the TRUE Sabbath.

I'm an SDA and I was never taught that Sabbath keeping is equated to God's Favor on anyone's life. I believe their will be all types of people in Heaven SDAs and none SDAs. There will also be some SDAs not making it.

I was a lukewarm Adventist & I married a lukewarm Catholic woman. Turned out to be a big problem when it came to our 2 kids. So we compromised & didn’t teach any spiritual knowledge to them. Today they are in their 40’s & not believers in any faith. It is my biggest regret for not teaching them about the saving grace of Jesus.

I am 20 years old, I have been an adventist my whole life and I just want to say there's no where else I'd rather be, I thank God every day for granting me the privilege of knowing the truth and the responsibility of sharing it. I hope the Holy Spirit impresses your hearts and maybe through this you are able to search for the truth too. God bless and
Happy Sabbath Saints

I'm an SDA, we believe that Salvation is by Faith alone. This firm faith in Jesus should produce good works through the Holy Spirit. Practicing obedience to God's commandments and reliance on Jesus's blood to cover our shortcomings because forgiveness is also part of Salvation.

An exJW here. I can testify that if we truly ask God to show us the truth, he will. I put God's word over men's authority and I was accused of being an apostate and I was disfellowshipped from the Watchtower. Which I don't regret at all. I'm certain that Jesus called on me bc he knew me and I knew his voice. He's my good Sheppard and I'm his sheep❤. I listen to my Sheppard's Voice ❤

I had to move out of my apartment I had for five years, I moved from one city to another, and who took me into his home even though he barely knew me? A Seventh Day Adventist, I call him my nephew, he doesn't work from sundown on Friday to sunrise on Sunday. He drives the 15 passenger van with other workers in it to the job from the pick up point, works at the job better and faster than many of the other workers. Then drives everyone to the drop off point. Then has the use of the van for the weekend. He takes me shopping in it so I don't have to walk to the grocery store and back again in 30° weather. If it wasn't for him, I'd have had to go to a women's shelter with a bunch of rowdy, cursing, fight at the drop of a hat women. I was brought up to be a lady. I thank God for this young man every day.

We are saved by faith and not by works, our works are the result of our love to God.

This is unfortunate. As an SDA, I can honestly say that we are not raised to "hide" or leave out any parts of what we believe. the reality is that this is not an accurate depiction of what adventists believe.

Ellen G. White (1827-1915), a prominent Seventh-day Adventist author and prophet, wrote extensively on various topics, including the concept of the "lesser light."

In her book "The Great Controversy" (1888), Ellen White discussed the relationship between the Bible (greater light) and the Spirit of Prophecy (lesser light):

"The Spirit of Prophecy is to bear witness to the truth already revealed in the Bible. The lesser light is to be subject to the greater light..

... The Bible is the standard by which all teaching and experience must be tested."

— Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 264

In this context:

- The "greater light" represents the Bible, the ultimate authority.
- The "lesser light" symbolizes the Spirit of Prophecy, or additional guidance from God.

Ellen White emphasized the subordinate role of the lesser light:

"It is not to take the place of the Bible, but to lead men and women to the Bible."

— Ellen G. White, Selected Messages, Book 3, p. 30

Key points:

1. The Bible remains the supreme authority.
2. The Spirit of Prophecy (lesser light) supports and illuminates Scripture.
3. The lesser light must align with and submit to the greater light.

Ellen White's writings clarify the Adventist perspective on the relationship between biblical authority and prophetic guidance.

I suggest that anytime you watch a video like this, that you should always have your bible with you, and anytime they qoute a verse you shoild check them for yourself and prayerfully study it in the light of the whole scripture, or its proper context. Eeven Satan use the scripture out of context to temp our Lord Jesus. Its very important to study the word of God personally. God bless everyone

Its not about religion its about Jesus alone. "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one can come to the Father except by Me." John 14:6

My brother. Your title alone is misleading. John 17:17. You are definitely misleading your followers. I pray that the Holy Spirit will direct you to the truth.

If you speak to Adventists they will tell you that her writings are not equal to the word of God and they never will be. What I have read of hers so far lines up with the word of God. She has a book called Great Controversy on the rise Protestantism which is literally a history book. She quotes the writings of Martin Luther as well as many other Protestants. There are Adventists who have never picked up her books but are Adventists because our doctrines lines up the most to the word of God. I have not seen any evangelical church given substantial interpretation on the books of Revelation, Daniel and Isaiah and if I am wrong please feel free to guide me accordingly. To this day I have not seen substantial evidence as to why the Sabbath is no longer kept. We know our history. The Sabbath was kept by the early church and Christ himself. I am Adventist not because I believe in the writings of Ellen White but because I believe in the word of God and I think this church has explanation that aligns the most with the word of God. We align scripture with history and study hard and have hearty discussions on the true meaning of the word of God. Most of us study for ourselves hopefully with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Also, even evangelicals and other denominations look to the writings of other persons for their explanations of scripture. Calvinists are a great example of this.
I personally do not instantly start believing something because Ellen White said it and there are many Adventists who feel the same. We are like we say we are. The Bible is our number 1. Of course there are extremists, but then again there are extremists in very church.
