Guilty of these! I'd say self criticism and social media use are the worst ones for me as they prevent me from doing things that actually make me fulfilled and happy

1. Judging yourself too harshly
2. Too much social media
3. Comparing yourself to other people
4. Devoting yourself to your favorite TV show
5. Believing you can’t change anything
6. Often arguing with your siblings

hope you’re all okay

2:55 I think this is my favorite scene this show has ever done, especially philza just sitting in the corner like a little green-capped gremlin, it's so good lmao

*“You’ll watch an entire Netflix series even when the first episodes are slow just because someone told you that ‘it gets better’, but what if you looked at your goals like that and watched your life get better instead?”*

Please stop comparing yourself with others and focus with your own phase. You are doing just great. ❤

On the self-judging, this might affect you in things you cannot even imagine. I generally am very harsh with myself, because I'm studying particle physics, and I have to keep myself motivated and judge myself when I'm wrong, to improve. The tricky part is, I've had depression for years, and when I do even the most lighthearted things, being harsh haunts me. For instance, I used to be very good at some videogames, and now, I play a new videogame, and get demotivated when I do things bad at it, as if I could magically know all the mechanics of a game I recently just started, and want nothing but to excel at it . . The idea was to be harsh with myself, in order to finish Physics university, because I was depressed and didn't have the mental strength to go on even though I wanted it, now the tables have turned in my mind, and it's difficult to control, and enjoy some simple things :/ Anyways, thank you for your videos Psych2Go

You don't know how much this channel taught me. Like whenever I go through hard time, their videos always give me answers and the people here are kind and have the same problems as well. I am really thankful💕

I never realized that I was seeking for companionship in my favorite TV show characters. I also didn't allow myself to see that I get too absorbed into what I'm watching. And usually because of pressure and stress, I'm afraid to manage my emotions. But it doesn't change the fact that I really enjoy being with my fictional characters. And that they remind me of the parts of me inside that I actually like and admire. They inspire me to be much better in the face of fear and wrath. I know that the person who watches those characters believe in themselves to do what can be put right after all. I know there's a much deeper sense of belief oneself, and it's like it's materialized on the screen. But in the end, those characters on the screen are already you, you just gotta give them a right chance to take on life. I'd like to believe that they'll always be beside me when it counts, whether it's imaginary or not they allow me strength, and that strength is enough for me to move forward.

Needed this ty.

A habit that i just started resisting today is constantly questioning whether I remembered doing something while working when I did it literally a few seconds prior. I also started to resist judging myself as well.

Honestly, you guys pick your topics very very thoughtfully; could just be that you know what's up, too.
