They do have a mental health problem - a HUGE and dangerous mental health problem in which they are not vulnerable, but their victims are very vulnerable. The narcissist is not vulnerable until they realise who and what they are, which may last a minute or two or it may last an hour but this momentary realisation is very quickly transformed into self righteous self regulating self absorbed defence ❤❤

TY for saying that! They know what buttons to push. They may not have the self reflection to know “why” they do it - obviously unhealed childhood wounds/trauma/abuse - but they know what they are doing is upsetting and hurtful to you. And they don’t care…because it doesn’t bother them at all. And they can’t for the life of them figure out why you are bothered about it. That’s the end game lesson for us…to wake up to the fact that someone we love unconditionally does not care about us. And if they don’t care about us, then they never loved us.
