life after quitting my job (1 month update) | august vlog

It's officially been a month since I quit my job, and I'm finally committing to slowing down and focusing on the present. In the past, I've always been focused on pushing myself to be as productive as possible despite how I was feeling mentally. But now that I am working for myself, I'm realizing how sabotaging this behavior can be. I have freedom now to live life on my own terms - time to enjoy it!

Hey Lynette, love your content so much. One thing tho, be nice and gentle with yourself, stop saying that you are dumb, it doesn't sound that deep because we all do it (been trying to unlearn that) but the same way you wouldn't tell a friend that they are dumb because they forgot to charge their camera or miss an exit is the same way you should't say it to yourself too. Show yourself the same love you show to others. Love and light 🤗🤍

I don't have any friends with the mentally that you have about work and still be successful and still be spiritual. this helps a lot especially with my own growth on YouTube. thank you for this bomb content lynette

Tomorrow will be my first week after quitting. My last day was Thursday. It has been a long time coming but I finally took the leap. Change your habits change your life folks.

I like the self love, self care. Pamper yourself more because that's the beginning of your routine since you are doing what you love. Your vlog is so beautiful, I like it . You are looking beautiful and I love your jewellery. Watching from Uganda. Lots of love

Lynette, you have the type of videos that I always go back and rewatch. I always find myself thinking "I'm in the mood to watch Lynette today" even when there isn't a new upload best believe I'm rewatching one or several and that's the best kind of content creator. I really believe you will have a powerful impact!!

roasted dandelion tea is a WONDERFUL detoxifying herb, a lot people think it also tastes like coffee. So you get the benefit of both if you want to try it . I recommend it for sure as a substitute.

this company i am in right now giving me stress feelings that i don't want my weekends to end. This company they don't care about the mental health of their employees, all they need from us is our labor. specially in creative line of work which i am in right now. It's hard to get a job right now in the midst of pandemic. But what is more important is finding peace of mind everyday and taking care of your mental health. Thank you for your video!

Totally agree, it so hard to present and provide depth in what you’re doing if your only focus is to get a bunch of things done. Great video!

Mindfulness with ANY activity is literally gold!! Totally feel you on that. Lately when I'm on the treadmill, sometimes I will leave my headphones at home and just listen to my breathing and connect with myself in that moment. It feels so good!

I love that you openly talk about spirituality because this is where I am connecting with you the most and thank you for recommending more spiritual people/channels because it really encourages people to continue to expand their consciousness and wake up.

I have been having the same feelings as you RE: money, slowing down, and being present and I keep getting confirmations that a lot of us are. I have been focused on money in the past (I am also from America - good ole Capitalism!) but lately, I have been telling myself I have enough, I have more than enough. At first I still felt the anxiety to achieve more and more and to continue pushing and pressuring myself but then, I really settled into peace by listening to myself and my inner needs and now I'm doing everything from my heart center.

I try to be in alignment with my higher self as much as I can and this is simply through doing things that feel good to my soul, being present in the moment. Thank you for bringing these topics up, I appreciate you so much, Lynette! Sending you love and light.

Thanks for the update. I'm trying to plan out the same path for myself but I trying to build up that passive income safety net first. It's an exciting journey to see how I can be successful finding the best one. Positive Vibes to you and your journey ahead =)

I advice meditating on chakras with mantras like once or twice a day. It could be 20 minutes or more depending on how blocked your chakras are. It really helps.
