I made the same leap in December 2011. Having significant savings was essential since I was teaching myself a new skill set. I eventually closed my business in the summer of 2022 after fighting off pandemic scammers and thieves for 2+ years, but I didn't need it. They may have stolen and resold a few of my courses, but they cannot steal my skill set. Congratulations, I know you'll do great!

Congratulations to you I took the leap in September of 2020 and left my corporate job (compliance analyst) of 30 years after stress and burnout. It was very scary but I am amazed this year will be 3 years and question why I waited for so long. I was very concerned about the insurance piece as well but decided to keep the insurance plan I had with the company, even though it is more out of pocket now that I am no longer an employee but I am managing it by the grace of God. When we let go and let God, he truly shows out.

God makes no mistakes!! I just did the same thing! Quit my job which I liked but the passion & fuel is no longer there. I’m emotional, it’s scary, idk what’s next but I’m still optimistic & hopeful for the greatness to come. I’m finally stepping into being an entreprenuer and doing what’s best for me. God has been pushing it in & from me as well. It’s new but it feels good at the same time. I wish you the best in your journey. I have been wanting to quit for years but I need my health insurance and steady cash right now. I will say that so many YouTubers do it for freedom. It's become commonplace. It's gonna be tough for those who never worked in the workforce to know how to function at a job. You are smart and yes you can always start working again in the job market if needed. Keep walking by faith. Sales is a burnout high stress job so congrats for dropping the weight of it.
