Suffering from anxiety disorder for a couple of years now. Realized that fear has gotten me addicted to self isolation, spending too much time on social media watching people go through their successful lives while i feel miserable about my own life and then wondering why my life got stuck. that's it. i'm taking back control of my life. thanks so much for your videos and keep inspiring!

Anxiety and panic attacks started showing up after long periods of abstinence, have to deal with them, it’s tough. But have to keep on going.

I’ve been on a dopamine detox for 6 days now and it’s made me realize so much. Those first few days I had a new found focus and productivity but around day 4/5 I noticed these intense emotions of loneliness and feeling disconnected from everything. As you mentioned it really did reveal how we as human use dopamine to hide/avoid certain emotions. Now focused on working through those to really unleash my creativity. I felt my addiction to dopamine was stifling it. Now I will say I’ve found myself spending way more time on YouTube so it may need to be the next one to go :(

Awesome video! Also one key factor that I have noticed about dopamine triggers: it's better to cut out as much as you can, becasue often times they are heavily related. If you give in to one, the others might follow. E.g. you go out for drinking-clubbing binge and and after that you crave a large fatty meal and the day after you feel letargic and unmotivated. And so it goes.

Hit the nail on the head with this video. I believe it’s very important to know the science behind how your body reacts to the outside world. Allows one to better protect themselves against its hidden dangers.

I have put watching this video off for like a month, keeping the tab in my browser.
Now I have finally opened and watched the video. I've made a mind map to identify my unproductive or destructive Dopamine addictions and I am now making a Dopamine Detox Calendar to keep tabs on how well I am staying away from my vices!
Thanks a lot for this video, man!

I took myself off Facebook yesterday because I felt there were too many voices in my head. Then I came across this video. The universe is definitely telling me something and it's starting to make sense.

Went through anxiety disorder last year and totally relate to what you are saying. It took 6 months just to get out of this disorder constantly feeling that I was going to die with a hearth rate over 200.

Thank you for this explanation. What really stuck with me was the "here and now", I find myself grabbing my phone out of boredom way too often instead of appreciating my surroundings.
