You can also do knee pushups. They are great for beginners. If you can't do an exercise just do an easier variation of it.

When you do the plank-shoulder-tap exercise, make sure you keep your hips stable. NO rocking. Keep hips parallel to floor and stabilized. Most of the challenge of this particular exercise comes from no movement of the lower body.

Give yourself a FULL year of doing this 4-5 days a week for 20 mins. It rakes a long time to build muscle. But these are good plank moves they really work!

would like to point out there is NO WAY for you to gain enough core and upper body strength in a week from these exercises to suddenly do a push-up if you are starting out

Dint give up. I could only complete 5 pushups the first time. That was two months ago. Now it us 250 / day

I have noticed something, i can do more push-ups when I'm pumped up after a cardio session compared to when i do strength exercises😭

Also guys, as i also used to struggle at it earlier, what helped me is start with inclined pushups and also don't ignore upper body & arms exercises.

I have arthritis in my wrists so it’s so painful to do push ups ): Wall pushups are okay for me tho. I just strengthen my core with other work outs (:

Just start with knee push-ups if you can’t wuth knee pushups start with incline push-ups and after 1-2 days you will be able to do a knee pushup and after a few days you will do a few reps of push-ups
