For example, the word "coronavirus" has been banned in Turkmenistan, and anyone caught wearing a mask can be arrested. In Belarus, president contiues to play hockey and advices people to use vodka and saunas to stop the epidemic. Some of these stories are simply absurd, like the story from India about religious group trying to heal it with cow urine. The coronavirus appears to be driving people insane. And remember, that the only working way to protect yourself is to follow the advices of world health organization.

These are odd methods! In particular, the Turkmen president's method sounds like the very definition of sticking your head in the sand!

Also, I could see why the lyrics in the song are questionable. After all, "let the virus know it's not China here"? I am from the US (and got plenty of experience on the coronavirus's impact on American culture), and I don't think Chinese people appreciate their 4, 000-year existence being associated with sickness! In other words, not only does the song not stop the coronavirus, but it actually spreads another virus: the virus of negative stereotypes!
