Yeah I hate the way caffeine affects me so I don’t consume except for on race days where it gives me a huge boost

I started taking NMN and the first day, set a PR.
I started taking pre-workout with beta alanine and set another PR.
I started cross training with sleds and free weights, and that improved me dramatically.

I remember when I first got into running on the treadmill and doing races with my friends. After many months, I finally bought a GPS watch and was a huge game changer. I was able to hit my target pace dead on and made huge PRs and gains. Without a watch, I think you'd need to run everyday, as well as multiple times a week at your target race pace, to really get a feel and dial in to race pace. Not something amateurs really have a lot of time for.

I never drink coffee. But maybe I should try some caffeine for my next race. And also beetroot 😁

And whats happens if you drink coffe and smoke a joint before running? There are studies?

I use this thing called run gum before some of my races and it uses caffeine which helps a lot
