All of the exercises are tried and true methods that don't involve any awkward or difficult movements.

A note, each exercise works a little differently. They're going to target various causes of sciatica, including bulging (or herniated) discs causing pinched nerves and muscle-related sciatic nerve compression.

These stretches work! If you can't get your legs up that high try the towel trick. Do these daily before you get out of bed and you'll be surprised how your range of motion improves and your pain lessens. 👍

i have a bulging disc at L-5, S-1. I have intense pain when I walk but not when I sit. I have zero radiating pain, absolutely none.. The pain is entirely centered just above and across the buttocks

Your sciatica exercises have helped me immensely, thank you. I have hearniated discs, upper and lower, from a guy ramming into the back of my car, while I was stopped at a red light. The exercise where you lay down on your stomach and do a push up like move while stretching your arm under the body, across to the other side, and the leg moved up in position, has helped me not return to using my walker when my back gives up. I do this exercise at the slightest hint of trouble and I’m good to go for months. Thank you so much for these videos.

My discs are so badly herniated that one doctor thought they were the cause of my digestive problems. This after two years of physiotherapy.

Wow, this not only worked, it worked instantly! I went from 100% pain to 90% relief in seconds of placing a bean can under my tail and pressing down. That exercise was just the best! Gonna keep at it, this last back issue was caused by standing up from a deep couch! I should be able to do that without destroying my back!

I have it in both legs and the area right under my glutes ( that crease between the thigh) shocks me out of my sleep 😢😢

After running a 20k in May 1982 I got sciatica. I went to doctors with no results. Luckily I found a Nucca Chiropractor. After three adjustments I could walk well. Three month later I ran a 306:55 marathon in Eugene Oregon.
