If you’re going for cheap then just get a 2000s ranger

They do everything the bigger trucks can do, just for less money, and you can get it with a manual transmission

Dont buy a truck as your first car except if you have to pull eavy stuff instead buy an old Toyota its much more reliable and its cheaper to buy so if you wreck it while trying to show off its not to expensive

GMT-800s aren’t a bad choice for a few years of ownership but they’re getting older so stuff is going to break so be prepared to spend every paycheck on it. Especially if you’re modding it ontop of repairs

Obs Chevy for sure might be biased but it has a motor used twice as long as the ls (love 5.3 btw) but it just seems like the obs is a bit cheaper once you get one and has the same amount of potential
