scotty i used to work for an hvac business in texas, they had 5 tacoma they absolutely abused the living snot out of them, they never replaced the oil on them either, one of the tacomas was just over 30000 miles without the oil being changed absolutely ridiculous how strong these trucks are

I appreciate that Scotty teaches through memes. Memes are what I understand.

I have been driving my 2005 GMC sierra 4.3 v8 vortec for 9 years. Bought at 125, 000 miles for $5, 500 now has 268, 000 miles. Still runs like a super beast & the underhood design has the do it yourselfers in mind.

My grandpa has a Tacoma from 97’ and that thing has been running well since he got it. Love that thing so much, I’d buy a Tacoma over anything

My dad never wanted to play catch with me as a young man but I could always count on my ford pickup to throw me a spark plug....

I recently bought a 2011 Ford F150 with the 5.0L V8 4X4 in February of this year. It only had 65K miles on it when I bought it and now it has 66K miles on it. Being a mechanic myself, I bought it because I know that you're absolutely right. It's the best, most dependable truck on the road. Everything works perfectly on it and it rides like a dream. My wife loves riding in it (she owns a 2018 Ford Escape that i bought for her and she loves it). I have to say I love your content sir. Being a Houstonian myself, I can really appreciate taking the family down to Galveston once in a while myself. Keep up the good work sir. It's nice to see an honest and trustworthy mechanic putting out such good quality advice.
Thank you very much.

Excellent list. I’ve owned all of these trucks before and they’ve never let me down. The Tacoma lasted the longest without any problems though.

I have a 2006 Tacoma with 347k miles on it. I still drive it every day.

I have an 07 Frontier. She’s at 350k miles and still running strong.

Those Frontiers are seriously underrated trucks. It’s a great vehicle for the money.

Love your videos man. :) You’ve helped me out a lot when it comes to car knowledge, down from how to change a fuel gage all the way to shopping for my next vehicle. Keep up the good work.

My 2007 Tacoma is proof of how durable they are. It drove a couple thousand miles with low gear oil in the rear diff. A few hundred miles with a dying or dead alternator on just a new battery. It even drove with a shot wheel bearing and broken strut. I also hooked the wrong battery up on opposite posts and it only blew the 140 main fuse. Even when parts were broken, it got me where I needed to be. By the way, it's an offroad only rig these days and runs maybe about a month every year. It doesn't quit and impresses my neighbors when it fires up without hesitation.
