Salvation is multifaceted according to past, present-continuous, and future tenses of the word in the NT. So it concerns me when people use the words salvation or saved because they frequently conflate the different kinds of salvation in their minds. We were saved from the power of sin in justification, we are being saved in sanctification, and when Jesus returns he will bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him, in glorification. Note that glorification is not anything like justification and yet these two are frequently conflated.

There is no prevenient grace, common grace, effectual grace, or any other kind of grace.

There is only grace - God working in the universe, and in human lives, to reconcile all things to himself.

God is never against us (even if it may feel that way sometimes), but always for us.
