It surprises me people actually think humans are inherently good. When someone hurts us, what is our first thought? We want to hurt them back...maybe even worse. It is only through God who teaches us to love and forgive our enemies. That is the opposite of what our flesh wants to accomplish. Our flesh says that person needs to pay for hurting us.

Here is another clue we are sinful from a young age. Parents how many of you had to work with your children to teach them the words or phrases like: mine, no, give me, I want that etc. Even at a young age, we want what things. We believe we deserve to acquire items of interest..like a toy or candy. A child has to be taught to share. It doesn't come naturally.

God is the only One who can change hearts for the positive. God is so good and just! We may not like how God teaches us lessons, but what child likes being corrected? After we have completed God's lesson, we are grateful for the outcome. We are changed, and God smiles at His son/daughter.

I'm a street preacher. Unfortunately there are a lot of folks in the street preaching community who don't believe in the doctrine of original sin. I've never been able to get on board with this teaching. I absolutely believe we are all born into sin hence the reason why we must be born again.

If Pelagianism is right then anyone can save himself bcos he has not inherited sin. This is contrary to scripture which says all have Consequently the sacrifice of Lord Jesus turns out to b vain by such people. This is wat gnostics believe

We didn’t inherit guilt, we inherited the consequences of the sin of Adam and Eve.

I did some research about Pelagius.
And it seems like Pelagius himself wasn't even a Pelagian. The fight between Agustine and Pelagius was quite messy so a lot of confusion rose and Pelagius ended up being falsely accused for a lot of heresies he did not affirm.

Thanks brother, very interesting. What's also interesting is the corruption of the Nestle-Aland/UBS text, based on the vaticanus and sinaiticus manuscripts. The NA/UBS is the basis of nearly all modern translations. Please research this!
