My adult son (24 y.o.) is on the autism spectrum (formerly aka Asperger's). He's actually not as bad as Dr.Murphy (no yelling, violent outburst, OCD). He does have ways that drive us crazy!😅 But he's so gentle and kind! He likes quiet. Yelling at him FREAKS him out. So, I learned how to gently yet firmly, correct and guide him. It's been quite a journey. My wife and his younger siblings have helped tremendously. He is in community college, pursuing his animation certificate and working part-time. I'm SO proud of him.☺️❤️🧔🏽‍♂️

For my son raising my voice made him worse so what works for us is I tell him I can't understand what's happening, if I can't understand we can't solve anything. It took a lot of work but it's worth it seeing his progress. ❤

I myself am a late-diagnosed, high-masking autistic person and I recognize so much of myself in Shaun. It's just that the only person who sees it is my partner since I mask so much outside of my home

My son is autistic .. he is so young but I see a big deal on this character that mirror my son .. just this morning he needed to write all the Greek alphabet before preschool before leave .. to get regulate it .. he is just 4 yo .. break my heart sometimes but, he is amazing and such a complex little man
