Thank you. I've been intermittent fasting for at least 18 hours since May . . I've had maybe three days of feasting in that time .. I feel fantastic. Thanks for your great videos. I share with everyone who will listen. (FYI..I've lost over 30 lbs.. although my fasting is more about healing my cells)..I'm 68 yrs old.. this year is my 50th reunion. Most of my classmates are already dead . I'm pretty sure I'm going to live to 100.

Dr. Mindy just completed 72 hours of fast. Second time. The third day was so calming. I wasn't ravenous, on the contrary I felt I could extend it to another 24! Thanks for the video. Inner intelligence works on inner engineering.

Dr. MINDY!! I just finished my 2nd 32 hour fast. I cannot get over how dang fabulous I feel!! I am almost 66 yo and feel much much younger than that! And look younger than that - even my doctor is astonished! I will so do this once a month until I get to 48 hours! THANK YOU FOR YOUR

Beginners Guide
I am water fasting now.
At 42 hours now. Had tons of energy yesterday when i worked from 5AM - 9PM. So grateful for your encouragement & videos. This evening intrend to do bone broth & cultured vegs.
Should be at 49 hours of fasting when i break it at 4PM. Glad i did it!

My translation: intermittent fast for minimum 17h (to start autophagy), eat keto / carnivore during eating window plus break the fast with less than 20g of protein will keep you in both ketosis and autophagy. Probably not sustainable long term due to potential calorie deficit but good as a self repair protocol without the strain of full on water fast.

I just wanna say it's so great to find a Dr that actually knows and understands how the body works. I swear some of the MD's I've been to have just memorized what pharmaceutical to prescribe for which symptom and never took the time to understand how the human body works.

The best part of Dr Mindy’s advice that it will not break your bank. She gives a spectrum of choices that you can accommodate within your budget. While I was planning my fast and meal for the next couple of weeks, I found I could arrange all the food already in my home for two weeks and have fasting variations with good ketobiotic meal- I did not have to go beyond my way to buy anything extra from the grocery, or expand my budget. All I had to do was make some healthy choices- pick up a bag of avocados instead of loaves. Being a solo parent with tight budget I am extending deepest thank to you. I have lost 30 lb with various 15-18-36 hr fasting in last 5 months. I started doing 72 hr fast from last month, I do not even bother about my weight loss right now, I feel better, my mood swings-anxiety are gone, and my focus is so sharp- I feel good all the time! Thank you!

I am Pallavi 71 years old, from Atlant. I have learnt a lot from your videos on YouTube. Want to thank you for inspiring me to loose weight. I have started 17 hours and more fasting since last 15 days ays and lost around 3lbs. I had done intermittent fasting 2 years back and had lost 23lbs. But didn’t continue fasting and gained 9lbs. So I have to loose another 15lbs this time.

I think breakfast has been vilified. I am a health coach and speak to people all day and they have the misconception that you you are only intermittent fasting if you skip breakfast. You are and can still practice intermittent fasting with any fasting window greater then 12 hours (Dr. Valter Longo) Personally, I prefer to skip dinner. There are is a lot of science that shows eating the majority of calories earlier in the day supports good health.

You are absolutely brilliant. I intuitively always knew that I felt better eating later and more protein and had already given up dairy, sugar, white foods, and processed. But only till now have i understood how why it feels so good! love knowing the science behind it. You are changing lives doing this and have cemented my approach and broadened it by miles now I know more. Cannot thank you enough. In other words, if you do longer fast such as fasts greater than 24 hrs, you are most likely achieving both ketosis and autophagy.
