I’m in Mississippi, USA . I really enjoy your videos, I’m a diabetic-2 but I’m doing very well now. I’m always trying to learn more. I struggle with fatigue, even though I eat healthy and sleep normally, except I do have migraines. I’ll keep listening and learning, thank you.

So glad to hear about 6 hours sleep being ok! I sometimes get 8, but usually 6. I take glycine and taurine at bedtime and that helps a lot. Watching from Los Angeles, California, USA.

I have tinnitus, and I think it's a nerve issue rather than a hearing problem, and I THINK it may affect the brain. My ears checked out OK. I'm not sure how to treat this. I'm working on better sleep, I drink no more than two cups of coffee, NO milk or sugar. I avoid cashews, peanuts (which aren't really nuts), and almonds, unless they're blanched. But I LOVE nuts, perhaps too much(!) If I get my thyroid tested, I'm pretty sure I'm otherwise aligned to the other factors you mentioned. THANK YOU, Dr. Joao.

Coffee hinders sleep, even one cup. I drink decaf, because I like the taste of coffee. Coffee also raises blood pressure.

Adelaide south Australia. Min of 8 to 10 hours has always been my normal. To be specific 8 and 3/4 hours was my routine for 2 decades while the kids grew up. I cannot function without. The mechanism behind low thyroid and memory is that thr hippocampus is highly metabolically active cells, and working more art night than daytime. This area needs to process emotions and memories and decide what to dispsoe of and then the unnecessary memories are disposed off. These proteins are then disassembled. With poor thyroid these neurons cannot function as they do, Also serotonin, oxytocin, dopaamine, all our neurotransmitters are produced in sub optimal volumes with insufficient thyroid. Thyroid is active in every cell and determines how fast the mitochondria function, and while re-uptake of neurotransmitters is a part of the recharge, they still need to be produced in milliseconds to try to keep up.
