I started investing at 27 in December 2019. I was off work for a while with a back injury & went into my savings - I accumulated a substantial enough amount without thinking about it - I didn't struggle or worry but I started to think about not wanting to work myself into the ground for the next 30yrs & scrape by on a measly pension. I left hospitality & started studying part time, determined to consciously save a lot more.
Looking for guidance i found a few channels that were UK based including yourself that I have to say has been instrumental in helping me get started, not just with improving my finances but getting into a new mentality.
I'm always so happy to see your uploads & on Sunday gone I saw you & Mary mentioned in the Sunday times financials regarding you retiring & it made me smile so much.
I'm 28 in a few days & I am so eager to continue saving & investing & honestly hope to one day be even as half as happy & successful as yourselves.
