Hey I broke up with my boyfriend with your method. It was such a cold but easy break up. After everything I said he just said “ok” and then I left and he only stopped me to tell me to take my camera I let him barrow. He must have never really cared and I always felt that way through the whole relationship. It was always just about him.
More than a week later he contacted me because he had no one to turn to when he was in distress and now I’m glad I did it because I’m only important if I’m there for him and I’m his shoulder to cry on. The second day I started crying because I missed him but I kept reminding me why I left and referred to the list of reasons why I was leaving. That really helped.
