"You won't get better if you try to keep up with the traffic in front" is probably the best advice I got from this video. Heck, it's not even for driving only, I'm pretty sure that's advice that applies to anything in life. But you made me realize how many mistakes I've been making because I panic when I see the cars in front of me act much more proficient than me... but of course that will happen, I'm still learning and they are not. It's so obvious, but it's so easy to fall for that trap. Thank you.

I got my license two years back and I'm still anxious to drive in traffic. Ugh driving on uphill is a nightmare. last week my car stalled twice on uphill and engine stopped and rolled back but somehow I managed to move 😭 I almost cried lol, luckily there was no car behind. I was never told to keep my heel up, didn't understand other people didn't struggle in traffic as I did. Finally found out and had to teach myself to use the clutch all over again. Thank you for sharing, really important stuff

These modern manuals are really easy, my grandfather drove manual cars that made you work and had zero margin for errors. Modern cars are chill.

Whenever I try to be as fast as the one in the front, I end up over-revving out of panic
As soon as I relax, and do it in my rhythm (of course, not extremely slow so I don’t block the traffic) everything works out just fine
This is especially about hill starting but also other situations in traffic
