"You won't get better if you try to keep up with the traffic in front" is probably the best advice I got from this video. Heck, it's not even for driving only, I'm pretty sure that's advice that applies to anything in life. But you made me realize how many mistakes I've been making because I panic when I see the cars in front of me act much more proficient than me... but of course that will happen, I'm still learning and they are not. It's so obvious, but it's so easy to fall for that trap. Thank you.

You literally are the best. Learning how to drive with my dad as an ‘instructor’ is a nightmare. You would think he yells for a living. I learned more from watching your videos than I did from being in the car. Thank you

I got my license two years back and I'm still anxious to drive in traffic. Ugh driving on uphill is a nightmare. last week my car stalled twice on uphill and engine stopped and rolled back but somehow I managed to move 😭 I almost cried lol, luckily there was no car behind. Your tutorial always helps me and this one is much needed. Thank you 🤧♥️ hopefully I'll overcome the anxiety and drive well. I don't wanna depend on my brother and dad for transportation 😣

I was never told to keep my heel up, didn't understand other people didn't struggle in traffic as I did. Finally found out and had to teach myself to use the clutch all over again. Thank you for sharing, really important stuff

These modern manuals are really easy, my grandfather drove manual cars that made you work and had zero margin for errors. Modern cars are chill.

Whenever I try to be as fast as the one in the front, I end up over-revving out of panic
As soon as I relax, and do it in my rhythm (of course, not extremely slow so I don’t block the traffic) everything works out just fine
This is especially about hill starting but also other situations in traffic

I hope I’m not being too much out of line but… I’ve never seen anything hotter in my life! I love manual cars but uphills always have been such a fear for me, especially when someone is right behind me. Seeing this guy doing this so easily, calmly and collected… I just can’t. He’s bloody amazing!

Oh man! 16:47 - 17.03 ("Car is leaving, doesn't matter!")... phew! wish I had that amount of practice and calmness to be able to do this efficiently. Wonderful explanation guiding a newbie like us.

I'm in southwestern Pennsylvania in the US. Lots of hills, mountains, valleys and rivers. Definitely a challenge of a manual. Thank you for this video.
